April Obsessions!

I constantly find myself obsessed. I think I may have pop culture, beauty, and fashion ADD!

Here are my obsessions for April:

1. Big glamorous hair with a dramatic eye and subdued lip!

I saw this look on Pinterest and immediately wanted to make it my own in some way! You can create it by using your favorite foundation, I usually go with the e.l.f. Studio Tinted Moisturizer for a little less coverage look, followed by the e.l.f. Studio Blush & Bronzer Duo. Use our step by step Essential Flawless Eyeshadow in Tantalizing Taupe and then for added drama line the entire eye with the e.l.f. Studio Kohl Eyeliner. Coat your lashes in your favorite e.l.f. mascara and pick out your favorite neutral lip color; Mine is the e.l.f. Mineral Lipstick in Rosy Tan!

Here's my interpretation of the look:

2. Birdy

Mark my words! Birdy is officially the next Adele! The 15-year-old UK native, is the daughter of a concert pianist and began playing herself at the age of 7. At 8, she was writing her own music! Over the last few months, I've hear her cover of Bon Iver's Skinny Love several times, but when I heard her new song on the Hunger Games' soundtrack, Just a Game, I went in to full obsession mode! I think that her version of the XX's Shelter may be my favorite!

3. Best Dressed in Royal from

I am IN LOVE with this dress! It's perfect to be dressed up or dressed down all Spring and Summer! I just ordered it and when it arrives I'm definitely going to pair it with a statement necklace and some cute wedges!

4. American Reunion

Let's travel back in time, shall we? Remember when you were a freshman in high school and the very first American Pie came out? I definitely had a hard time understanding 50% of the jokes, but I'm super excited to catch up with the gang on April 6th! Also, this seems like a really great chance for Chris Klein to FINALLY make a comeback! It must be tough losing the love of your life to Maverick from Top Gun!

5. Mockingjay

Yes, I'm aware that I've been giving you HUNGER GAMES overload lately, but I just finished Catching Fire and it's so hard for me to focus on anything else! Team Gale? Team Peeta!? I'm SO torn, but I'm 99% sure I'd choose the sweet and romantic Peeta! I'm excited to find out what the fallout is like after the 75th Annual Hunger Games in Mockingjay!

What are your April obsessions? What should I read after I finish Mockingjay!?
