Hey elfettes! Have you heard about our color crush this month, inspired by sunflowers? If you haven't seen it, check out our pinterest page for some beautiful imagery. Our how-to this week is all about the eyes and new ways to incorporate bright color into your makeup. This look can be adjusted to fit your complexion and eye shape, but try it out and let us know how you like it!
STEP 1: Apply your moisturizer and then use the e.l.f. Studio Moisturizing Foundation Stick, to even out your complexion and create a smooth base to apply blush and bronzer.
STEP 2: Apply a blush to the apples of your cheek. We used the e.l.f. Studio HD Blush in Diva on our model, with a wet sponge. Then we added the e.l.f. Studio Baked Bronzer to our models hairline, cheekbones and sides of the nose using the e.l.f. Studio Angled Blush Brush.
STEP 3: Move on to the best part... your eyes! Our model is wearing several shades from the e.l.f. Studio 144-Piece Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette. Start by evening out your lid with a base color and then follow with a slightly deeper crease color in a brown shade. Then use any of the yellow shades from the palette that best suit your skin tone— for deeper complexions, brighter color is awesome! Use the e.l.f. Studio Eyeshadow "C" Brush to pack on the yellow shade over your lid. Don't be afraid to apply color to your lower lid for a dramatic effect!
STEP 4: Finish off your look with the fun stuff like liner, mascara and brow filler. Our model is also wearing the e.l.f. Studio HD Blush in Diva on her lips, with the e.l.f. Studio Glossy Gloss in Wild Watermelon over it.
Doesn't she look so fresh? :)
