Do you remember the first time you were allowed to wear makeup? It’s a right of passage, really. When you are a teen, wearing makeup is one of those milestones that can come before dating, or even driving a car. Wearing makeup is a visible sign to the world that you are no longer a little girl and you are turning into a young woman. Remember the freedom of finally getting the chance to choose between blue or purple eye shadow, and a dark gray for a smoky eye? You know you experimented with the blue. I bet your mom has the prom pictures to prove it. Just remember, we’ve all been there. LOL
Ever since I started wearing makeup, my one staple that I love and that I won’t start any day without applying is eyeliner. I refuse to go out of my house without it. For me to not wear eyeliner would be like walking out of the house without a top on. I just can’t do it. I may not apply a lot of makeup, but the one thing I will always wear is eyeliner. My eyes can’t be naked.
The thing I love about eyeliner is that a little bit goes a long way. As a busy mom of two boys, and prior to that a busy career woman trying to quickly get out the door in the morning, the eyeliner has always provided me with an easy way to feel put together. A bit more polished. Have you ever noticed that when someone wears eyeliner it accentuates their eyes? It can draw attention away from areas on which you may not want to focus. Eyes can be such a great feature to highlight. Play them up people! You know you wanna.
They say that the “eyes are the windows to the soul”. So brighten your windows today with some eyeliner window treatments. With some many color and choices, the “eye” is the limit!
