Making playlists for my weekly Sunday picnic at the park has become almost as fun as the picnics themselves! Music for spring should be equally upbeat and mellow! Perfect for basking in the sun, but not so mellow that it lulls you to sleep and a nearby goldendoodle steals your sandwiches!
1. Alabama Shakes - Hold On
This girl can truly sing! I love the driving melody! Perfect for sunny days in the grass (or sand)!
2. Cut Copy - Need You Now
Feels very 80's and very 2012 all at once! I can't say no to that combination!
3. Cults - You Know What I Mean
I am obsessed with the mysteriousness of this song! It feels like a mixture of swingy blues and electronica!
4. The Naked and Famous - Young Blood
Just like the MGMT classics that this reminds me of, Young Blood is sure to be a summer anthem when the city is so hot you see steam rising from the pavement!
5. Titanium - David Guetta featuring Sia
I'm pretty much guilty of putting this song on every playlist including, but not limited to: Saturday Night Getting Ready Playlist, Let's Get Skinny! Workout Playlist, Morning Wake Me Up! Playlist... So one more playlist shouldn't be a big deal!
What music are you digging for spring?!
