1. When applying grey or black eyeshadow to your lid, make sure not to go all the way up to the crease. Apply to the lid, and then with a clean crease brush, blend any harsh edges.
2. To make this look warmer and more natural looking, apply a medium brown eyeshadow or even bronzer to the crease of the eye to create a natural shadow. This will make the eyeshadow less harsh.
3. Highlight the brow bone and inner corners of the eyes to add light to a very dramatic eye.
4. The most important step- always use under eye concealer when using dark, smoky shades.
