Throwback Thursday: 2004's HEAVY Eyeliner!

Source: Celebrity Updates

Heavy eyeliner was all the rage in the early 2000s and celebrities everywhere sported black eyeliner to show their edgier side. Not only does this look super dated but black eyeliner around the entire eye and waterline makes your eyes actually appear smaller! To wear eyeliner in a fun and edgy way today try a reverse cat-eye. Just follow the steps below for a modern look:

1.) Use a pencil like our Studio Kohl Eyeliner and make sure to sharpen to a point using the included sharpener

2.) Trace the lower lash line staying as close to the lashes as possible. You can also trace the lower waterline for a more intense look (perfect for a night out!)

3.) Wing the line out slightly and connect to the top lash line. Make sure you don’t draw too far onto the top lash line or it will start to make your eyes look smaller!

4.) You can choose to trace this line with a liquid eyeliner like our Essential Liquid Eyeliner in Black for an even more defined look

5.) Use a matte eyeshadow in a bone or nude color all over your lid - choose one from the Studio Endless Eyes Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette in Natural

6.) Finish with two coats of our NEW Essential Volumizing & Defining Mascara on your lower lashes and one on your top lashes.
