I have golden tan skin with yellow undertones. The darker shade is great, sort of a rosy terracotta. However, the lighter shade just doesn't make any sense. What is the point of the chalky peachy shade that will only show up on a very fair skinned person, and probably not as a nice blush shade anyway? It's hard to complain about $4, but it's money that could be put to better use. Love you ELF, but these weird shade combos in your duos (blush, bronzer/blush etc...) are a waste of time, money and good packaging. I just started depotting the shades I like into an empty palette.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2017-04-10</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2017-04-10" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="114007062"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Matte Blush Duo" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">consumer beware</span> from <span itemprop="name">Texture smooth. These powders are smooth and did not kick up a lot of powder using a brush. It's also reasonably pigmented with the ability to build up more color, if that's what you are looking for. I think the shade &quot;rosy flush&quot; will work for most skin tones to provide a natural looking blush. For dark/deep skin tones &quot; soft and subtle&quot; can be used as a dual tone face/finishing powder for setting your highlight or just keeping shine at bay.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2016-06-28</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2016-06-28" /> </div></div><script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection').style.display = 'none'; }</script><!--end-reviews--><ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">y_2017, m_4, d_24, h_6</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_1.0.0-hotfix-1</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasreviews, tv_0, tr_8</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_US, sid_9067, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=SUBMISSION_TIME, direction=DESCENDING)]</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_elfcosmetics</li></ul><!--end-bvseo-reviews--><!--BVSEO|dz:Main_Site-en_US|sdk:v1.0.6.0-n|msg:timer 0ms -->
