Beautifully Bare Stipple Brush is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I would not recommend this brush. I have gotten so many elf brushes and this would have to be my least favorite. It sheds a lot. It did blend my make-up smoothly though I would just have rather spent my money on another great brush from elf.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great brush for travel because it has a shorter handle than the average brush. I also have elf's small stipple brush and find they perform the same. The only difference I find is the length of the handle. I use this to apply cream blush and cream highlighter and it works beautifully. Stipple brushes can be a little tricky to use if they are new to you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok. For the price it's a bargain but it definitely leaves streaks when you use it for liquid foundation. I use it to actually put the foundation on my face, since it spreads it nicely, and then I smooth it over with a damp beauty blender to remove the streaks. It's nice because it doesn't use up a lot of product like other applicators do, but I wish it would provide a nice streak free finish without having to go over my face with the beauty blender afterwards. It does shed from time to time but I also experience that with my other $30 stipple brush from a different brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice try but no Let me start by saying I absolutely love elf brushes, but this is definitely a pass for me. It is very short, around half the size of their other brushes and the actual bristle part is barely bigger than the small stipple brush. I wanted to to blend my cheek products after laying them on but it barely covers a third of my cheek. As soon as I took it out of the packaging it started shedding (around 5 or 6 bristles just fell out) and that has never happened with the studio brushes. Its also more expensive than the studio ones and I'm not sure why. Id say pass on this brush, but totally check out the studio brushes. Especially the flawless concealer brush. I have 3 of those suckers that is use to set my underage and its my absolute favorite bender brush for shadow. It gives me a flawlessly blended look every time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Only good for a cream blush. This brush has hardly any structure to it! The bristles are very floppy and just smear your makeup (both cream and liquid). After one use I washed it so I could use it with a cream blush but the bristles were stained with my foundation, I washed it about 10 minutes after using it! I haven't tried it yet with a cream blush but have heard better things about this brush when used with blushes. One thing I really did like was that it is very small, the bristle surface area is large but there isn't a long handle so it is perfect for traveling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth I accidently ordered 3 of these, and I'm not complaining because they have so many uses, helpful for concealer, blush, highlighter and I'm sure more, and they feel so smooth and nice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hate it I bought this brush to try out and compare to others I have. It sucks. It left my foundation streaky & was uncomfortable on the skin; kept poking me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my go to brush for foundation I used to use a sponge all the time. I didn't think that a flimsy brush could do me any good but this brush is amazing! I use this brush a lot and the finish on your face is so much better than a sponge! I also don't need to use as much foundation, thats always a plus!

Is this brush mainly used for applying foundation?

Asked by: dpaula
You can use it for foundation, blush, and highlighter. That's what I mainly use stipple brushes for. ELF does have a smaller stipple brush which I think would be better for highlight to precisely put product on the cheekbones.

Can someone please tell me what Stippling Motion is, how you do it for Full Coverage of liquid foundation with this brush?

Asked by: Simplegirl
i use mine everyday for full converge with liquid foundation. what i do, is put my foundation on the back of my hand, then take a makeup sponge, beauty blender or even just your finger and apply foundation in these places: -a triangle that covers your whole cheek (on both cheeks, with one dot in the middle) - one line down my nose -one line above your lip -one line on your chin -and a few dots all over your forehead. then take the brush and dab the foundation into your skin, blending it and covering all parts of the face. you will know you are done when your face is completely covered evenly. This is my routine for my face, but make sure you play with where you place the foundation so it will work for your skin. hope this was helpful!
