Great product! Not perfect for winter

I’ve been using the Holy Hydration Hydro Gel Moisturizer from e.l.f. for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really impressed! The lightweight gel texture feels super refreshing and absorbs quickly without leaving any greasiness behind. It’s perfect for my combo skin—hydrating enough for my dry areas but not too heavy for the oilier zones. I also love that it's fragrance-free and packed with skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid and peptides. My skin feels soft, smooth, and definitely more plump after using it consistently. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that while it’s great for daily hydration, it might not be quite rich enough for very dry skin or harsh winter months. But for everyday use—especially in warmer weather—it’s a fantastic budget-friendly option.

Great for the price— silky, serum-like texture

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review! This product is a great compromise between quality and price. Pros: feels really soft and smooth on the skin. Cons: fragranced (wasn't irritating but I prefer fragrance-free) and felt like it sat more on the top of my skin rather than full absorption. I am very oily in the T-zone and very dry everywhere else on my face and I feel like it did a pretty good job moisturizing without causing T-zone oily issues. Overall pretty satisfied with the product!

Good basic moisturizer

This is definitely a good, basic, moisturizer! Not a miracle, holy grail product for me, but definitely worth getting if you’re on a budget!

My #1

This is my #1 moisturizer that I could never replace in my skincare routine. I use this for my day time moisturizer. It gives my skin a refreshed glow without being heavy or greasy. I have used this in my routine for years now. In my opinion ELF’s skincare line is one of the best affordable products out there. Only way I would stop using this is if ELF stopped making it.

Lightweight and Any Skin Type Friendly

I really appreciate the non-greasy finish of this product it leaves my skin looking plump and hydrated without any unwanted shine. As someone with combination skin, I’ve found that it layers well with my other skincare products. I especially love the healthy glow it gives my complexion!

Moisturizing my skin

The moisturizer is light weight. It feels like water on my skin and absorbs pretty fast. It has a floral scent tho, but it did not irritate my skin. My skin feels moisturized, but since the texture is too light, it doesn’t make me feel too moisturized

This is my first time trying an ELF moisturizer and it did not disappoint. The cream is lightweight, unscented, and fast to absorb. I love how moisturized my skin feels after. The pump makes it so easy to use.
