Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great But... I’ve tried three of the flavours The mint was my first and I loved it so I ordered the rose and that was great too but then I ordered brown sugar and it was much more coarse than the others and tore at my lips Much like fine to coarse sand paper They should keep the coarser ones in a separate category because you think it will be the same as the others and it’s not So no on the brown sugar for me but yes to mint and rose

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for lips I bought the brown sugar to try out. I saw a big change after the first use. I will be buying more to store. I use it twice a day. Morning and night after my face care routine. My lips feel smooth and look better under matt lipsticks. All the deadskin came off. My lips are going back to their original colour. Its worth the money but buy a couple finishes quick if you use it properly

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sweet Cherry... Where? I've always liked the original, brown sugar lip exfoliator, so naturally I thought to try a different "shade" when they released them. Color me disappointed and damaged. I tried it on warmed up lips, damp it otherwise and not only was it like rubbing a dry glue stick across my lips, but I then woke up with dry, almost wind-burned lips the next, having not been outside in the cold for days, so how did that happen to my lips? Only difference was using that God awful product. You can and have done better ELF.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WARNING: INGREDIENTS LIST ON WEBSITE IS WRONG I ordered this lip exfoliator in "Brown Sugar" in December 2018. In January 2019 I noticed that the ingredients list on their website doesn't match what's on the package I received. I emailed them and they replied on 1/23/2019: "Thank you for letting us know of this discrepancy. The ingredients on the product packaging is correct. We have forwarded this along to be changed." But as of this writing (2/12/2019) they HAVEN'T YET FIXED IT. It shouldn't take weeks to fix something important like an ingredients list. The package which they confirmed is correct says: "Sucrose, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Ozokerite, Fragrance (Parfum), Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Aspartame, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Ve)" As of this writing, the website shows: "Sucrose, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Ozokerite, Fragrance (Parfum), Synthetic Candelilla Wax, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Ve)"

Rated 1 out of 5 by from mint maniac I have purchased other lip exfoliators from ELF and they were great but this one is horrible. The smell when you first open it is bad and its a weird residue similar to an old glue stick. I don't like them at all

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value and Effective! Part of a Christmas gift to myself. SO glad I got it. I love love love coconut, and the scent and flavour are great. Smells reminds me of 2000s shampoo that I liked. It's so useful to have a scrub as a stick form so you can use it anywhere hands-free (no germs from touching things!). It's also sweet and yummy! Even with the increased pressure it gets, it stays in place in the tube so well! Hasn't even tilted. It's a simple formula, great execution. Def a good gift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of ELF's Best Products Works extremely well. The granules in the original brown sugar is rougher than the other flavours which are quite soft. I use both depending on how severe my lips are. Please leave the packaging and formula of the brown sugar

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gross! Don't bother I just received this and was so excited to use. I started to use on damp lips as instructed and it was almost like a glue stick! It had this funky residue which transferred to my lips and I discovered I had to scrape the top layer off to get it to somewhat work. It is overall gross and not at all minty.

is this stuff edible?

Asked by: hailey7754754754i
anything that goes on your lips can be eaten this is not saying it should but it can be, if this is not the case then it definitely shouldn't be going on your face.

I just picked up a new tube of the mint lip exfoliator from my local Target. The product is very sticky and cannot be applied. Does this mean that the product has expired? I've used the brown sugar scrub and it was easy to apply.

Asked by: Meguin
We apologize for the issue. This does not mean that the product has expired, however if you are unhappy with it, please return it to the retail store where purchased, and if there is an issue, please contact us at, we will be happy to further assist you.

Are all the flavors equally effective in exfoliating the lips, or are some more effective than others?

Asked by: Anonymous247
The Brown Sugar one is a little rougher than the others. With the rest of them the only difference is scent and flavour.

Is there a difference between the 3 different exfoliators?

Asked by: geronimo
Though there are more than 3, they all have a difference. Each is meant to smell like their name plus some even taste like it. Ex: Mint Maniac smells and kinda tastes like mint. As far as I've seen, they don't have a tint and some are better at keeping moisture than others.

Do any of the different flavors leave any sort of tint, or no? Worried about finding a flavor I like that won't tint a color I can't wear well

Asked by: Sunshine20
