Mineral Pearls is rated out of 5 by 122.
Rated 5 out of 5 by MichG from Pretty, soft glow The pearls provide a soft glowy finish. I use it after my setting powder to soften the look and accentuate high points. Amazing value too. Thank you e.l.f.!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kw20147 from Not for me I bought this as an alternative to the Allgenist color correct powder. This is difficult to use. I swirl my brush over the pearls and at least one of the pearls always gets stuck in my brush and ends up falling out on the floor. I tried to take a few out and crush it up but that gets messy. And after all that, I don't notice the difference. I recently discovered that ELF also has a tone correcting powder, which I tried and like MUCH better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by liblady0524 from Mineral oil Would love to try these powders, but why ELF insists on putting mineral oil in a lot of their face products is so upsetting! Extremely comeodogenic (even though mineral oil claims not to be) for most skin!

Rated 3 out of 5 by NaharaVensari from Interesting with Issues I purchased the skin balancing pearls. As they come they don't put out much powder at all. Maybe I just use too much powder, I don't know. To fix that I probably did a terrible thing and crushed the pearls about half down. The powder itself does balance my skin tone, and does not irritate my skin in anyway. However, it is extremely messy this way, which I'll admit is not as intended and the lid is extremely loose so I don't even keep it with my other makeup. If it looks fun to you, might be worth trying, but I can't really recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cmckayse from Love love love!!!! I bought this on a whim. I'm not even sure why but I'm SOOO glad I did. I use this as more of a finishing powder and it's awesome because I always feel like even though my foundation is perfectly matched for my skin, it always leaves my skin looking dull and colorless. I don't like to use bronzers because I prefer a more natural look but this adds just the right about of color to brighten my look. I'll continue to buy this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MargieA93 from Perfect coverage I absolutely love Mineral Pearls! I use the Color Correct ones first, then finish with Natural for a light yet complete coverage. It doesn't feel heavy on my skin like most foundations, and it looks very natural, not 'made up' at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KawiGirl from Pearls of Loveliness! I found this product in Marshalls and bought it to try it. I love this little jar of colored pearls. They even out my skin tone and make my complexion even and brighter - more youthful looking. I noticed that using this under my IT Cosmetics powder foundation make the make up go on smoother, and didn't leave my face looking dry after an application of two different powder products.

Hi e.l.f., I was wondering what the pastel colored pearls were for?
This product balances out your skin tone for a radiant glow.

I'm really pale and just getting into makeup. I prefer matte, natural stuff. Could you wear this without foundation or concealer?
hey "shush"! I own the skin balancing pearls and I as well have pale skin. I am 14 and I don't wear much skin makeup either and I definitely think this is great even without skin makeup! It has the slightest bit of shimmer from the white pearls but it isn't even noticeable. It is not powdery at all! recommend it all the way

What is the difference between the natural and the skin balancing and when should you use them
Hey! I recently bought the skin balancing one and I love it. The skin balancing color corrects but has a translucent white finish. This is great for if you have pale skin like me. I'm not sure if it works on darker skin, but I am sure the natural does. My friend owns the natural one and it is a bronzy glow for darker skin. I love this product and I 10/10 recommend it!

Where on earth is the mineral line?! The mineral products were the reason I started buying from elf in the first place. There seems to be something fishy here. I was convinced that the mineral products were amongst your top sellers.
Same here! I bought from there for their mineral line. I had no idea they were discontinuing these products. I just loved these loose powders for overall foundation and blush. This stinks! Now I'll have to look for something to replace it. Please bring these back!!

I see that it comes in plastic!! Do I take it out? How to use it
Yeah, you have to open up the bag and put it into the container. When I got mine, it was a tad messy but nothing I couldn't handle. And I don't recommend to use the powder puff they give you. I just use a kabuki brush

Hi. I have a skin balancing one. Is it ok that I apply this after my foundation? It is not supposed to replace my foundation right?
I use the skin balancing one after my foundation to set it and I love it. I still use a heavier setting powder for like under my eyes, but this works great for me. I use the total face brush from Elf (or any big fluffy brush) and just brush it all over. I do not believe this is supposed to replace your foundation, there isnt much coverage to it. For me it seems to be perfect to use this way and still balances my color a bit without getting cakey/ powdery or too matte. Hope this helps!

Hi, i used to use the ELF loose mineral foundation and concealers but you don't seem to sell them in the UK shop anymore. i wonder what alternative you would suggest. i'm no good with liquid type foundations and need something to help control shine.
I used to use the mineral powders and got all weepy (and wrote in about it!!) when I learned they'd been discontinued. I loved blending my own "color" using them. That said, I tried both of these pearls (the light colored ones and the tan colored ones) and have been Really Happy using the white/blue/pink ones on some darker areas (dark eye area and areas with any "problems") after putting a bit of coverup (the one in the flat tube) and then using the tan colors for all over light color. I have olive skin and these work really well for me. I'd like the mineral powders to come back, but am happy with this in the meantime!

Does the Skin Blending color have any shimmer/sparkle to it? I have pale oily skin and want something to mattify without shimmer. I like the Tone Correcting powder, but want something that won't crack like a pressed powder does when I throw my bag around.
Yes, these pearls do have a sheen to them. Please check out our loose HD powder, as that seems like it would be a good fit for you.
