Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard to stick I bought the pink minx hoping for a pretty pink color. While it's a beautiful shade, it will not stay on my lips. It either rubs off, streaks, or just not lay on. The formula feels rough and very stiff compared to lipsticks I've bough from ELF before. I thought maybe this was my lips so I tried different ways to give it a chance. Nothing was working. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my go-to lipstick I got "Ravishing Rose" as a free gift with purchase, and it wound up being one of my favorite lipsticks and favorite Elf products. It's a semi-matte medium coral-red which looks classy and classic. I've often worn it to work. I have light skin with pink undertones and it's a flattering color on me. It goes on smoothly and feels comfortable. The only thing I don't like is that it smells and tastes very sweet which I find mildly unpleasant.

Con: it got everywhere; it wiped onto everything. For example, my hand would accidentally touch my lip and there would be a red spot on my hand that seemed determined to get on my clothes. I would recommend for photos, but doing life with long hair, it was not ideal.

I have a rare condition that causes my mouth to move uncontrollably, which includes a lot lip pursing, biting, and licking, so I taste every lipstick and gloss I use. Some are downright disgusting. Not these! They have a very pleasant sweet taste to them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Balmy but off-color I just got Rosy-Go-Round, Crazy Cranberry, and Ravishing Rose. I had gotten Rosy-Go-Round before, but this one was much redder than the previous one I got - it was almost the same color as Ravishing Rose. They go on thinner than they used to, which on one hand makes them less sticky/cakey, but I did not anticipate them to be more balmy and sheer. They are very moisturizing, though, and I recommend them for colorful ways to moisturize your lips, but be aware that the colors probably won’t be accurate.

Are these non-bleeding lipsticks?

Thes are not specifically non-bleeding, however we have not found them to bleed. We suggest a lip primer and/or lip liner if you are concerned about bleeding.

I recently purchased Black Berry and Bordeux Beauty but I am having a very hard time getting the lipsticks to stay on evenly. They very patchy and some areas are darker than others. The black berry is really bad. I am wondering if I am applying wrong?

I had the same problem at first but it really has to do with the application technique. I have found that if you carefully swipe it back forth on your lips to get an opaque layer of color and then dab your lips with clean tissue to remove the excess you can get an even color that will not easily just transfer off. I wear berry black and backout with great results, and my lips stay moist with this lipstick. I do recommend using a lip liner before putting on the lipstick and than use a bit of conealer to help cover up mistakes. Alternativly, use a lip brush for better control when applying the lipstick.
