How To Use

  • Apply a generous, even layer to clean skin, avoiding the eyebrows and hairline.
  • Leave on for 30 minutes or until fully dry. 
  • The mask will turn from shiny black to matte black as it dries.
  • Peel off from the edges to remove. Rinse any excess with warm water.
  • Follow with Soothing Aloe Mist to moisturize and soothe the skin. 

Notice: The mask may cause some discomfort when peeling off; it may remove fine hairs and cause temporary redness.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Product but not for senstive skin!!! The product is good honestly, it cleans my pore really well. But its a bit harsh when taking it off, my skin overall is very sensitive so it did make it painful to take it off. Also, the consistency of the product, in the beginning, is slimy which is good makes it easier to apply but it gets dry really easily so apply fast.

I didn't find it uncomfortable to peel off at all, I actually thought it felt so refreshing. I found it easy to pull off if you do it correctly and make sure its completely dry. It does pull out fine hairs but that doesn't bother me. Made my skin feel so smooth. Would definitely buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Less a face mask and more like a wax strip I was very excited for this product. I love face masks but this one is a nightmare. It took me 15+ minuets to get it off my face and it took every hair on my face with it. It didn’t remove any black heads, or dead skin and the only reason my skin felt smooth afterwards is because it practically waxed all the hair off my face. The next day my face ached and felt bruised. As someone who has loved elf for years I am terribly disappointed in this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good but not great I would give this a better review but there are a few problems with this mask. I’ll start with the positives though. It does help take off dead skin and some blackheads. It dries well on my forehead, cheeks and chin, but not as easily on my nose. With that being said, I’m not a fan of the glitter. Sometimes there are spots on my nose or even cheek bones that may have had too thick of a layer and didn’t dry all the way so it’s still wet and tacky. If I have to wipe it off or even wash it off glitter still remains. I don’t mind glitter in my makeup routine but not my face cleaning routine. Plus it doesn’t always pick up in the bigger pores and gets left behind in the pores or the blackheads just remain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Doesn’t rip your face off! I was hesitant about using this but I was pleasantly surprised. It didn’t hurt to peel off, and left my skin really soft. The only thing is there’s a lot of glitter left on my face. Not a deal breaker though, still a good product.

I was very excited to use it especially on the nose area as I struggle with black heads the most in this area. I always make sure to use steam or a hot towel in order to prep the area and open pores. Unfortunately the only thing I can say about this product is that the glitter is cute but the blackheads were still there! It's sad especially because I have been very pleasantly surprised with a lot of the e.l.f. skin care products. I have very sensitive skin and their products have worked amazingly on my skin but unfortunately this one is a dud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its just fun So I read the reviews before I bought it and it was a pretty mixed bag. Honestly? I love it. Super easy, slather it on, give it a good 30 minutes to dry, peel. Its super satisfying to peel. Really not that painful. I was expecting it to be way worse. Just give the sensitive skin around your eyes a wide berth. Worked incredibly well to pull stuff out of my pores.

Absolutely not. It doesn’t peel off very well and leaves glitter all over the place. Don’t waste the money.
