How to apply Glossy Lip Stain:
- For a natural look, apply one coat of Pinkies Ups lip stain onto the center of your lips working outward.
- For an opaque coverage, apply two coats of lip tint.
What is lip stain?

How to apply lip stain?
You can start by exfoliating your lips to create a smooth surface. Then, you can outline your lips with a lip liner and fill in the rest of the lips with the stain. Blot your lips with a tissue to remove any excess product and allow it to dry.
What is the difference between lip stain and lip tint?

A stain I can appreciate
The packaging is very sleek ( the same size as the liquid and metallic shadows). They’re the perfect size for your makeup bag. It goes on very smoothly. It has a very cooling, silky formula. It’s long lasting too! Combine this product with their love triangle lip filler liners for intensity. This is a must have in your collection.

Not For Me
I got two colors to try out - "Power Mauves" & "Basic Beige", they were both orange on my lips with Power Mauves being a darker orange and Basic Beige a lighter orange - not the colors I was expecting to get for the selection of the names I chose. On top of this, I felt like instead of a "lip stain" these are definitely more like a glossy lip OIL, unscented, very lightweight with a tint of color but not really moisturizing and although the gloss finish is pretty and not sticky (especially for those who love more natural looks) it did not have much lasting power on the lips. After eating a sandwich or drinking some water I would look in the mirror and notice that the product was almost completely gone from my lips with uneven patches of color randomly left on some parts of my lips which I guess was supposed to be the "stain" part of this product. It was so unsightly that the only way to fix it was either to take it all off or reapply an entire coat on my lips again which I constantly had to keep doing during the day. If you don't mind a glossy lip oil which you have to reapply constantly during the day then by all means go for it. Unfortunately, this was just not for me.

The colour is super cute and has a gorgeous natural gloss but there is only a small amount of product in there. It dried up within a few uses.

Almost exactly what I wanted!
This lip stain is very glossy and non-sticky. I would recommend the shade "Cinnamon Dreamz" as a good nude color for those with deeper skin tones. While this product does stain as advertised, I don't think it's very long lasting. I still ended up eating and drinking mine off, so I would bring this along while out for a re-apply.

Just what I've been looking for!
I've bought multiple colors, but heavily rely on the Basic Beige for my daily look. This lip stain is smooth and applies without drying out the lips. The color stays for hours! I typically have pale lips, and this really helps my lips stay prominent again my pale complexion.

Natural stain
The basic beige was daily go to for a long time, before I got really into the current trend of lippies. Pinkies up is also a great natural shade that isn’t too pink or red. Definitely recommend to wear under a gloss or balm

This formula is more conditioning. It is glossy when applied, sets on your lips like a balm and then leaves a tint once the shine goes away.
