Guys, Ain't That Sweet sucks. It's patchy, dry, and you can't see the color on light skin. Skip it. It's a problem color that needs reformulating badly. But I tried again here on the site during an ELF sale and found I really loved Cruisin' Chic and Wine Not, and then I went back for Coco Cutie -- all of which are darker, cooler colors. These shades blend on nicely and stay put, even on fairly oily eyes. (For comparison's sake, Maybelline's color tattoos crease on me in an hour; these last a whole work day.) My only real complaint is that they are a bit messy to work with. You have to move fast because they dry on your lids quickly. Blending isn't impossible, but it's obviously trickier than with primer+powder.Coco Cutie and Wine Not look pretty similar blended out on the lid, by the way, so you can probably just get one if you're on a budget. ELF really needs to expand this line; it's a great product and needs a ton of softer neutral colors with actual pigmentation, and then I'd be buying them all.
Date published: 2016-06-02

Rated 5 out of 5 by Juliebug2020 from Amazing product! I first bought this in the color "ain't that sweet" and I loved it. I decided to buy "brownie points" yesterday because it was on my list of makeup, and I am so impressed!!! I love it! It works perfectly blended out for a natural smokey eye, or with the small angled brush for a perfect winged liner! I love this so much!!! ❤️ This is my new go-to easy everyday eye look. It is so versatile! I purchased the Cruisin' Chic smudge pot a few days ago when I saw it at the store, I figured it was only about $3 that even if it didn't work I wasn't out a lot of money and I knew that I liked all the other elf products I have tried so far.I love this stuff! I want to go get all the other colors! I have had this stuff on for 12 hours currently, today, and it hasn't moved AT ALL! Not a single bit. I have pretty oily eyelids , hence the issues I have had with other shadows, and this hasn't budged! When I don't have this shadow on I will usually dab away at my eyelids every so often to get rid of any excess oil, while I have worn this smudge pot the past few days I haven't had to do that at all, I feel like my eyelids are much less oily than usual. On top of all of that I have weird eye and skin allergies and my eyes are especially sensitive, I used to have horrible reactions to certain eyeliner and mascara brands, and I haven't had any problems with eye irritation while wearing this smudge pot. Plus the color is super pretty!
Date published: 2016-05-25

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cassia from Disappointing I had heard from lots of people that this eyeshadow was great so I bought the Ain't that Sweet pot and when I got to using it I was very unhappy.. it applies very unevenly, sort of clumping together on the eyelid, you have to use a finger to apply because the brush won't pick any of it up. I heard how good this stuff was but I must have gotten a bad batch because these really sucked.
Date published: 2016-05-23

Smudge Pot Cream Eyeshadow Reviews - page 2

2016-06-25T06:43CST

bvseo_cps, prod_bvrr, vn_cps_3.2.1

cp_1, bvpage1

co_hasreviews, tv_0, tr_356

loc_en_US, sid_5260, PRD, sort_mostRecent

clientName_elfcosmetics
