Blemish Control Face Primer- Large is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go-to primer that doesn't cause pimple outbreak I have a combination skin. Sometimes my face get very oily and sometimes very dry. I tried other primers and they often cause pimple breakout. This is the first one I tried that haven't caused anything for my skin. It has been my go-to primer ever since. Even after I wash my face, my skin still feels smooth. I know everyone's skin reacts differently. I am happy this works for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn’t cause breakouts, & even helps my acne! This is the only primer I can use that doesn’t cause breakouts ok my acne prone skin. To the contrary, it seems to help my skin. I’m actually surprised more companies don’t have acne-friendly ingredients like the salicylic acid in this one, since makeup can clog pores so easily. And there’s no doubt it’s those with acne who feel they need makeup the most. KUDOS TO ELF FOR SUCH AN AMAZING PRIMER! This beats more expensive primers for me!!! Also, if anyone is complaining this caused them to breakout, it’s quite possible the Salicylic Acid is causing their skin to purge (lifting bad stuff to the surface). Salicylic acid is known to do this, but it’s temporary and actually a good thing in the long term. So, if you’re reading this and gig already use Salicylic acid in your daily routine; then I honestly don’t think you will break out from this, but of course I can certainly be wrong since everyone is different. FOR THIS PRICE, I WOULD DEFINITELY GIVE IT A TRY!!!

When I use this stuff, it seems to crack on my face? It starts to peel off my face almost like dry skin. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Please be sure that you are only using one pump per application and blending well for best results.

I have combination and acne prone skin, would this work for me?

Asked by: Sydney224
yes, I have combination skin with dry patches and an oily T-zone and I used to have breakouts alot, this is the only primer I use and I have noticed a huge difference. I cleanse my face, apply moisturiser and then this primer. My foundation looks great and the primer helps keep it all day. so far I have had very few breakouts since I have added this into my skin care routine.

Hi, I was wonder about this product, how much is inside, for example how many mL or what not, cause I saw that this was the larger one and I know there was a smaller one, but I can't find how much is actually in the bottle

Asked by: Miranda4987
This larger bottle has about 1.01 oz in it, where as the smaller bottle has around .47 oz in it. It's in the ingredients tab.

Would you recommend this product to someone with skin on the drier side?

Asked by: leah joe
Its general use is to minimise acne and redness, so I would recommened the hydrating face primer as opposed to the blemish control primer.

Will this disrupt the SPF under the primer? Thank you! Is there a dermatologically supported response to this question?
