Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Countour okay...But works great for eyeshadow! I've recently been experimenting with different vegan and cruelty free makeup brands. I used to only used Mac products, but turns out, they test on animals. My first purchase from here was this countour pallete. I used it a couple times, and it was great, but defenitly not as good as Mac countour. I switched back to my Mac countour and am still out looking for a better vegan brand for countour. So, being the creative person that I am, I used it as an eyeshadow! Personally I think it works better as an eyeshadow than Mac's actual eyeshadows. Other than this product, I have absalutley LOVED everything else I've gotten. It's nice to not have to feel guilty buying makeup for myself. I used to spend SO much money on name brand makeup. I switched because I wanted to see if the off brand stuff worked just as well. Turns out, it does! I only go to Mac for lipstick and Bobby Brown for mascara. This product wasn't for me. Also, it was a little too dark for my skin tone. I LOVE all other elf products, though. So much cheaper than most other companies and almost the same quality! Actually though, if you need one of these colors in an eyeshadow form, you should totally just buy this countour palette. Works the same as an eyeshadow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ashleyadccross from In love with this contour palette ❤️ I love this contour palette! I have the light to fair I believe. The colors are wonderful, easy to apply and only takes a small amount. Lasts all day, use alone or add to your full coverage routine. Great buy for the product. I believe I am going to be able to use these colors even when I tan in the summer. Definitely going to recommend this to everyone. I can not say anything bad about this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gtam from LOVE THIS Love all of it. The lightest shade is very chalky and not usable, but the nude shade is perfect for setting the undereye or face, the bronzy color perfect for a sunkissed bronze, and the darkest shade is AMAZING to contour with.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Likeslichens from It was worth a try; Caveats... This review is for the Light/Medium contour palette. First off, this palette was not suitable for my cool olive skin. That's not the product' fault; it can be a challenging skin tone. Cool-toned people should, however consider the e.l.f.Cool Bronzer; I find it to be a better contour palette for my complexion. Bonus: it is MATTE. Which leads me to my gripe about this product: the formulation is not matte. I understand the highlight shade having some shimmer, but the other tones have too much of a sheen to be considered properly matte. This may work for younger skin, but it makes my 53 year old skin announce little creases I never even knew I had, and left too much shimmer. Buyer beware if you have mature skin. Product also tends to be a little patchy and powdery. What I love about this and the other e.l.f. palettes like it, is the packaging. Trim and elegant and with a good mirror. But I can't figure out why e.l.f. Introduced the snap-out interchangeable palette pans without giving the buyer the opportunity to actually customize the palette to their needs. The concept only made it to the halfway point, in my opinion. I would really enjoy this packaging if I could select for myself from a wider range of shades.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LauraBaura from Its pretty nice! Its a nice palette. I love how soft and smooth it makes my skin, you just need to set your makeup with a powder first, or it looks muddy and patchy. Otherwise, its so pretty!I like how its not crazy in the pigment, so its easier to go in light handed and build it up, because this product looks best when its built up

Rated 4 out of 5 by makeupboy from Nice For My Purposes I enjoy subtle contour, highlight and bronzing and the powders in here do that for me. In the winter I have to be a little bit more careful with the contour shade but it's workable for sure. The highlight is a little chalky but I don't find it looks super textured on my cheekbones. The apricot toned powder I could probably use as a general use face powder but I prefer to use loose powder so I just use it to set my eyeshadow primer. Not sure if it's eye safe but I live on the edge (don't be like me lol.) Overall a good quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by farmershab from First time 'contourer' I bought this to try contouring myself (I find most makeup artists have a heavy hand on my face, and wanted a more natural look/option); I found it incredibly easy to use and am extremely pleased with the outcome.

Rated 4 out of 5 by brokemusicmajor from Good basic contour pallette I'm new to contouring, but I was surprised by how much I liked these colors! My skin is light, and I use every color on the palette. The white I use as a highlighter. The bronze as a bronzer and a tiny bit of of the dark one for contouring.

Does this have removable pans?
I actually have pulled out the pans in my palette. I'm not sure if it was faulty or not, but it didn't look like it was broken when i removed them.

is the highlighter pigmented/shimmery? I absolutely HATE translucent highlighters.
Its not good for your typical highlighter but using this to go over your concealer works really nice

Can we buy replacement squares for our palette? I have used up two of the four and would like to replace the squares in my palette. Is it possible to buy individual squares?
Unfortunately, elf doesn't offer the squares individually. :( I'm hoping they start their own little line of squares to pop in, or maybe even squares with four shadows inside each to step up the customization game.

What is the top right powder considered? A concealer or highlighter or something else??
It's a yellow-toned, matte powder that is used to set concealer.

I have a concealer and I was thinking about getting a setting powder for it, but will this contour palette work alone? I figure since it's already a powder what's the need for another powder.
I use the two top shades to set my face. I use a BB cream cushion and not concealer, but it still work for you.

Is this contour matte finish??
Yes, this is a matte palette. The highlight shade has a bit of shimmer to it but it's pretty subtle. I like to use it on my cheeks under my eyes where people usually use a lighter concealer to draw triangles.

I bought the Contour Palette and have used up one of the squares. Is it possible to buy just one square? I notice they pop out. I didn't see on the e.l.f. website where you can order just one square.
We do not currently sell refill pans for this product.
