Rated 2 out of 5 by from No thank you I ended up throwing this away because the smell is soooo strong I was choking on it. Plus, you have to use a lot to get your brushes clean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely Awful Will not buy this again! You'd have better luck cleaning your brushes by spraying water on them. It has a very strong and unpleasant smell and it gives me a headache. The sprayer is also faulty, it doesn't evenly mist over my brushes but sprays out 2-3 concentrated streams of product all in different directions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from keep your brushes longer This product is great as it spot cleans your brushes after every look. Plus, it smells great! This helps the life time of your brushes, as you don't have to scrub much when shampooing your brushes. The small bottle goes a long way, I have to rebuy, but I've had this one for at least 6 months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This isn't for filthy brushes! I'm on my second bottle and i love this! Perfect size for to just throw in your makeup bag! The smell is great, it really does a great job also. Works great to spray the brush and rub on a paper towel. You really see all the makeup come off. No need to wet your brushes all the time.. but you still should clean them!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It did a good job of getting the dirt out of my brushes. However, it smelled awful! The smell lasted for a week!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smells amazing! Bought it because of the price and I do not have time to wash my brishea after each time I use them. So after using (I only use powder products with my brushes) I just spray 2-3 times over them. Smells like cucumber. Love it!

What is better to use? The spray cleaner or wipes?

Asked by: ZoeS
I prefer the spray cleanser.

Can this produce be used to clean beauty blenders as well?

Asked by: shesatimelord
I thought the same thing and attempted to use it on a beauty blender but it did not work. The beauty blender just absorbed the spray instead of using it as a cleanser.

My friend has an e.l.f. Brush cleanser and she says that it smells like cucumbers, is this true?

Asked by: Yagirlmads22
I think it smells like cucumber. I love the smell but if you use too much, it can become overpowering.

I usually clean my brushes with vinager, soap and a little bit of baking soda, I've never really used brush cleaners before. After spraying the brushes with the brush cleaner do you just leave your brushes like that or do you rinse them after wards??

Asked by: Blinded_Mind13
You don't rinse with this! You just wipe your brushes on a paper towel or hand towel you don't mind getting makeup on...read the how to use by the product info

Can I use this spray on actual cosmetics as a disinfectant? Will is change the color payoff or break me out? Thanks

Asked by: MJamie
Do NOT do that. At the very least it will deposit questionable ingredients to the cosmetic. More important than ruined makeup , though, is the potential for ruined skin. Check YouTube for diy advice about sanitizing your makeup. And do not use brush spray on your cosmetics.

Asked by: esme0814
Yes, yes and yes! Price naturally draws you in but the quality of their products keep you hooked! Can't say enough about their customer service people. They get back to you right away and always have a more than mutual solution. You will not be sorry. I had to get off their email list because I want EVERYTHING! :)

What is this supposed to smell like?

Asked by: Mb88
I personally think it smells absolutely awful. It smells like a woman's perfume and it is so strong. I easily get headaches from smells so this was bad for me. The product is very good though so I still repurchase.
