How to use Thirst Burst Pore-fecting Toner:
- Use toner in your morning or nighttime routine AM or PM after cleansing.
- Shake well, then dispense 1–2 pumps onto your hands or a cotton round.
- Gently apply to face and neck, tapping in until fully absorbed (no need to rinse). Follow with Thirst Burst Drops and your favorite moisturizer.
- Finish off with SPF if wearing during the day.
Pro Tip:New to acids or have sensitive skin? Patch test first and gradually build up usage.

Thirst Burst Pore-fecting Toner can be used on sensitive skin, oily, dry and combo skin times. If you have dry skin, be sure to follow up with Thirst Burst Drops and your fave moisturizer. Be sure to use SPF during the day after. If you have sensitive skin, patch test and start slowly.
How often should I use an exfoliating toner?
Thirst Burst Pore-fecting Toner can be used daily. However, if you have dry or sensitive skin, patch test and build up tolerance starting 2-3x a week.
Is exfoliating toner the same as chemical exfoliant?
Thirst Burst Pore-fecting Toner uses a chemical exfoliant, 2% BHA, to help smooth skin’s texture.
Should I use exfoliating toner before or after serum/moisturizer?
Thirst Burst Pore-fecting Toner should be used on cleansed skin, before serum and moisturizer.
Can I use exfoliating Thirst Burst Pore-fecting Toner with retinol?
We do not recommend using Thirst Burst Pore-fecting Toner in the same routine as retinol. You can alternate days.
What’s the difference between AHA vs. BHA vs. PHA toners?
AHA, BHA, and PHA toners all use an acid exfoliant, but how they work differs. AHA, like Lactic Acid or Glycolic Acid, is a water loving acid that helps exfoliate dull, dead skin cells to improve skin's smoothness and radiance. BHA, used in Thirst Burst Pore-fecting Toner, like Salicylic acid is oil-loving, which allows it to mix with the skin’s natural oils and help clear out buildup to unclog and refine pores. PHA, like Gluconolactone, are known to be most gentle when exfoliating the surface due to its larger molecular size.
Should I use exfoliating toner in the morning or at night?
Thirst Burst Pore-fecting Toner can be used morning or night.
Do I need sunscreen if I use exfoliating toner?
Thirst Burst Pore-fecting Toner has 2% BHA. If used in the AM, follow with SPF. If used in the PM, the next morning use SPF.
