Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these I have been using the stains for a long time. Don’t bleed. Use with gloss. Try them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great pigmentation Not the best color on me but it has good pigmentation and is a great price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Two uses I bought this and tried it for the first time. The first time used it, I thought it worked a lot like a marker for lips. It had the consistency and scent of a fruity scented marker... The color pay-off wasn’t horrible but not very precise. The second time I used it, or even toward the end of the first, I noticed parts of the marker not working. By the end of the second time, there was little to no pigment left. I left it upside down in hopes that it will help. It also clings to certain parts of the lips more than others. For example, the more rough part of my bottom lip was very colorful but my upper lip hardly had a tint. (This was after exfoliating my lips.) The supposed “stain” didn’t leave a trace on my lips after eating. Also, the color “nude nectar” was more of a reddish berry. I don’t think this is a very good product and would recommend you choose something else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I think that this is a decent product for $2.00. However, it doesn't last long and is very patchy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Eh I bought this about 3 months ago, and i've tried giving it multiple chances but it takes a lot of work to get an even coloration, and even after that it bleeds

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not much product I used this maybe four times before it was completely out of product. It worked well but was sad it went out so quickly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dry and no pigment Very poor product, its super drying and only has about one applications worth of product in it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The best... but there is not enough product in the container. ELF could easily double the stain in the package, maybe hike the price $1, and have THE best product ever.

I'm so lost. Trying to find an e.l.f. lip product with some staying power. I saw this lip stain, read reviews, and wondering if the smell itself is being addressed and why does the stain dry out so fast? Is it meant to be a trial size?

Asked by: myroses
It is not meant to be trial size, and I had no problem with it drying out.

What color would be best with my skin tone? I am more of an ivory color (I have a red under tone)

Asked by: Kyleeclover
I'm ivory with a cool undertone and i like Berry Blush the best, You juts have to put on a light application or else it will look red

How do you remove it? My makeup remover wipe didn't remove it and it didn't wear off.

Asked by: Eileen L
I also couldn't remove it with my typical makeup removers (baby oil and coconut oil). Saliva took it off in a second, so just lick your lips liberally and wipe away with a tissue. It might take a couple tries to get it all off. I was shocked that makeup remover didn't take it off, but spit did.

I love the stain, but how do you get it to the tip? Example, with a pencil, you would sharpen it.

Asked by: Dee Hayes
Store it upside down.
