Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flashback I am a big fan of elf products but this product gave me terrible flashbacks!! My mom used it but it was fine on her but everyone is different of course. This product just definitely did not work on me

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice finish I’ve been using this for a while and I’m not sure how much product other people are using to get flashbacks, but I’ve never had that issue. I love the way the powder helps set my concealer and helps mattefy my oily face through the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from crazy good Used high-end some drugstors setting powders,This was perfect to use to set my IT CC foundation cream. It keeps my makeup in plase all day with no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This powder performs like my high end finishing po This powder works great. All these reviews saying there's FLASHBACK and giving bad reviews because of it...who cares? What red carpet are you showing up on? Don't give a good product a bad rating for something that doesn't matter. A white powder will have flashback! That's life! Get a translucent powder if you don't want flashback Einstein!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ELF HAS CHANGED THE GAME I have tried so many powders. From drug store to ulta and this powder was litteraly sent from the lord god himself. Normally my face is so greasy with whatever I use. But now my face feels light and amazing all day. AND ITS 6$ ARE U SERIOUS. WHY WOULD YOU NOT BUY THIS MY GREASY FACED FREINDS

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality decreased Hmm...I just got a new container of this and tried it....felt kind of rougher and not as easy to blend as my last container(which was the old packaging). I see the formula has changed. A bit disappointed :( ... the old formula was the only powder I could wear that is completely sheer and blends seamlessly. The new formula is just like all other powders out there and just settles into my dry areas. Yikes...

HI I'M DRARK SKIN  DOES THIS REALLY WORKS ON DARK SKIN? I DONT WANT TO WASTE MY MONEY THANKS

Asked by: GloriaEzeChude
I am a medium brown mixed race lady, and I adore silica powders for their blurring and matifying properties. I do press into the t zone with my beauty blender - but lightly! Then dust around the rest of my face with a brush. Don't be heavy handed, a light dusting is all you need believe me. I use then use a real techniques setting brush to dust the powder under my eyes, around my nose crevices and on my oily eyelids too. This gets rid of any shine, but leaves the skin so smooth. I do my eyebrows, eyeshadow/liner afterwards, and this powder helps them to stay put. I find as the oils come through that they look natural, no tinted powder sitting in pores, no oxidisation and no changing foundation/concealer colour at all.

Say I put on BB cream and I look extra oily. Can using this product help get rid of the oily looking skin?

I have used this product for quite some time. I like the feel of my face and that it seems to absorb oil.  The problem is the glitter in the product. I’m not 15 and I don’t want the glitter. The sheer is so white that I don’t look healthy.

We suggest that you apply this sparingly and blend very well in a circular motion for all shades, and to avoid flashback (white), if you choose the Sheer shade.

What is the recommended way of setting the powder? I heard there's flashback but if you use it right there will not be any, so how would you apply this properly?

Asked by: saipy20
We suggest that you apply sparingly in a circular motion with a powder or kabuki brush and blend well.

Does this powder cause flashback? I've been looking for an affordable powder that doesn't and I'm hoping this is the one.

Asked by: mads060
When applied correctly and blended, this will not cause flashback.

When I use this product it flakes. I've used it over foundation and on bare skin, I applied it with the buff that comes with it, with a kabuki brush and I'm stunned at all the peeling and flakes I have to brush off my face. What's going on?

Asked by: aednyc
If you are using foundation or mousterizer that is oil based that would cause it to ball up.  Or if you use a setting spray before putting it on
