Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Product!! I wanted to try cream shadow and didn't know where to start. Elf products are affordable so its a great way to experiment. I choose to get the rose gold. The color is stunning and pigmented. I love the stick design it makes it easier to apply and be precise. I highly recommend this product and the color. I will be ordering more colors soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific long wear eyeshadow This eyeshadow is as good as the big name ones, and the colour, Rose Gold, is beautiful. It goes on evenly, is blendable and last summer as long as you want it to. I’ll be buying other colours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rose Gold I initially thought I would dislike the slimmer and pointier tip, but it still allows even application with the benefit of more precision. It's really quite pigmented and beginner friendly due to its ease of use. Product lived up to its name and stayed on my lids all day without creasing and remaining really glow-y and smooth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice I bought 3 different colors in the no budge eyeshadow stick. I was very pleased with the results. The colors are pigmented well and blend nicely. After a 12 hour shift at work, my eye makeup was still on point and looked good. I only wish there were more colors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THESE! At my age I decided to try to downsize my makeup routine and do away with powder applications for everything. ELF needs to make these sticks in more colors PLEASE! I love these and they've helped me get closer to my makeup goals and this is soooo easy to use! Not enough color selection is my only complaint. I didn't know there was a sharpener in the colored end either until I read someone else's review. So, I checked and sure enough - pulled the colored end off and voila - a sharpener! Yayyy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adore! (Blue Steel) Thanks to e.l.f.'s killer sales, I grabbed this one at $1.28 during the year-end sales, but it's absolutely worth the full price, and I WILL buy all the others. I just love how e.l.f. throws these crazy sales that let me justifying buying things I'm just not quite sure about. At first glance, this is the same thing as the Matte Lip Color pencils (of which I own 5 currently, and absolutely adore). It has the sharpener in the end (pull off the colored part, and VIOLA!), and it is otherwise exactly the same packaging. However, the formula is much creamier on these, which is great since the Matte Lip Colors go on a bit on the dry side (because they're matte), and I was concerned that this would pull at the eye too much. It absolutely does not. When I got it, I swatched it on my hand, and even after rubbing off all the other eye colors and washing with soap and water, it was still there, clear as day! I don't get that it's darker than what's shown online. Sure, the little blue square that you click to change colors is way lighter, but it's basically exactly what I see in the photo of the pencil. The reason it can seem lighter is because it's highly reflective, and this is the same way it goes on the eye. But the base is also a medium gray-blue (steel blue is the perfect name), so when it's not reflecting a lot of light, that's the color that will show. First time I tried this I just put it in the outer 1/3 of my lid and blended regular matte colors around it. That worked pretty well. Then I used it just on the bottom lash line with a fairly neutral look, to add a nice pop, and that worked great as well. I sharpened it a bit that time to get a more precise line. Today I decided to line all around my eyes with it. It was slightly sharpened from when I used it before, but for the most part it was just as it comes. I put it all around my eyes and went over the top with the Clay Eyeshadow Palette in Smoked to Perfection (which I got in the same order). The eyeshadows did dull the color a bit, and they blended out the pencil as well, which is good to know, especially for the other colors when I get them. I ended up going BACK over the top line to put the shimmer back. I used the pencil first because I wanted it to stick better without the powder shadows under it. Time will tell if that's my preferred method. Anyhow, I have high hopes for this color and will continue to put it through its paces, but so far, it's a total win!

How easy is this to put on top of other shadows (elf or other brands) if you were to do something like a cut crease, etc.?

Asked by: kitagawasmith

Do these have glitter in the shadow?

Asked by: izzy03
Yes there's glitter in it. Not just "shimmer." It's got particles of glitter in it.

Can I make color suggestions? A deep teal with purple reflects and a delicious golden plum. I am really in need of dupes for the ByTerry Ombre Black Star shades and this formula is already a winner.

Asked by: kdubois

I feel silly asking but...the sharpener on the bottom - how does it work?

Asked by: OhDani

Can we all try to put the colours of the items being reviewed? knowing something is a great shade isn't very helpful when we don't know what shade was purchased. I just think we all could benefit

Are they lip safe?
