Perfect Finish HD Powder is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 118.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Controls Shine, but Super Flakey and Dry The powder has a very light and chalky feel to it. When first put on, everything looks good. But after a couple hours of wear, it created super dry patches on my skin, and broke apart to make my face look flakey and cakey! :( It made sure my makeup didn't budge, and my oil was much more controlled, but it's way too drying. Would not reccommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing powder! i have already hit pan on my second go with this powder!! this is my go-to setting powder, i use this both with a sponge and brush and it works great with either :) i love this so much and it locks in my foundation so well that even if i forget to use setting spray, my makeup holds up!! this is perfect to just straight up set with and also to use for touch-ups throughout the day. it even has a slight mattifying effect which i love ♥ the only downside is that this does not help with creasing very much (my laugh lines always pop up towards the end of the day) but it also doesn't settle in the fine lines under my eyes which is a great plus

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really does its job! This is probably the best setting powder I've ever used! I work 10-12 hour days in a restaurant (Hot kitchen) and my make-up is always creased, smudged or fading by the time I get off. With this setting powder, everything looks exactly like it did when I applied it! Not even smudged eyeliner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice! This powder is so fine. It truly is transparent as I have olive skin and it works perfectly for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK I bought this to used as an on the go touch-up powder and it didn't work for me. I use the loose version of this powder to set my t-zone and under eye and love it. I thought this would be perfect to dim the shine than sometimes peeks out throughout the day. I does that but it leaves too much of a white cast behind. The included sponge deposists too much powder and I need to sheer it out with a fluffy brush. I don't plan to carry another tool around all day to make this product work. I will continue to use this product when I travel because it does apply like I want it to with a fluffy brush and this formulation is a little more travel friendly than the loose powder but I won't repurchase. This might be perfect for those that find the loose powder too messy to work with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Time Best Powder! I bought this about 6 months ago just to try it. I am 49 years old and still have extremely oily skin. I "set" my foundation with this product and never thought of my face again! So now, I am stock piling this item, terribly afraid Elf will discontinue or something! #oilyskingirlproblems

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted I'm the type of person who don't like wearing foundations on my day-off, sometimes I only wear sunscreen to rest my skin. But the sunscreen I use is very greasy on my face so I was looking for transparent mattifying powder to use with sunscreen and I found this. It was $8 when I bought at Walgreens. This powder works amazing as it claims. And the skin after I put this powder feel very smooth. I don't even know how to explain, I just can't stop touching my face after I use this! Very good for natural-look skin. The only con is the sponge. It's very thin so It's good for touch ups, but hard to put the powder all over a face evenly. you might want to use it with brushes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Maybe if you're going for the goth look I just bought this and I'm not happy I will be taking it back. I usually buy the loose hd powder but decided to try this one big mistake it leaves a white ghostly cast on my face and I'm pretty pale already I use snow in born this way. It is also not a good option for people with dryer skin it made my face feel tight. The sponge also smelled like car exhaust which worries me lol I love elf but I'll be sticking to the loose powder.

Hi - I bought this powder last week, but I have multiple allergies. I am not allergic to any of the ingredients in the make up, but is there latex in the sponge applicator? Thanks

Asked by: GeeWhiz
I suggest Try applying it with a powder brush to see if you get any reaction. If you don't, it's likely the applicator it comes with that you're allergic to.

Hi, I have been really interested in this powder as I really, really want a white pressed powder and I saw this one. However my worry with a full white powder is a flash back in photos. Does this happen with this powder?

Asked by: Madge678
Use sparingly and blend well to avoid flashback.
