Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have large pores and this is wonderful! First let me say, I've tried expensive pore primers that didn't work like this one did. It was great. The smell isn't the most pleasant, but for it's coverage and what it does, I'll tolerate it. It kinda smells like chlorinated water. I don't put it over my entire face. I tap it into my pores on my forehead, cheeks starting from the outside of my nose out ... and my chin. And this has great coverage. For it to work accurately, pat it or dab it into your pores, instead of smoothing. This will give you the best coverage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have combination skin and have had a hard time finding a product that helps rid my skin of looking to greasy. This product is great for combination skin and sensitive skin as well

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Silky smooth I bought this back in November and am very happy with it. It goes on really nicely and smooths out my pores. I don's wear foundation but it really does wonders for my concealer and helps my eye shadow last all day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much better than I expected. I was skeptical about this primer because of how cheap it is and also the way it looks when you first pump it. This primer is clear and thin and goes on very easily. Since using this primer over any other, I've noticed a huge difference in my makeup. I'm used to reapplying foundation throughout the day, but I rarely do that since I've been using this primer for about a month and a half. I put my makeup on most days in the morning and by dinnertime, it's still looking pretty good. Honestly, I really have noticed a huge difference in my makeup wear since switching out my old primer for this one. I really love it and intend on making it my go-to from now on. My only complaint, which is a really small and subjective one, is I'm not fond of the smell. It's not a bad smell, but it's almost like a sharp, old herbal smell that I'm not really into. Other than that, this is a perfect primer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fills in pores and gives smooth finish! I bought this a few months ago and absolutely love it. Mine was in a pink bottle. I'm not a fan of the smell and I hate the feeling of it on my hands, but it does work well for what it's supposed to do. I suggest ONLY applying this to where you have large pores. Putting this all over my face made my makeup feel cakey and slippery. I only apply a tiny bit in my T zone and it works pretty well at making my pores look a lot less obvious as they usually are. Other than the smell and the oily feel , I am not a fan of the fact it came with a lot less product than the bottled looked like it would. I would also suggest living it on the skin for like 1-2 minutes before applying foundation on top so it has time to set, and tap the foundation in on that area instead of buffing it in. Overall it's a good cheap primer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poreless Face Primer is AMAZING! I have fallen in love with this product. It was one of 3 of my first order from Elf. I will NEVER go back to not using a face primer before I put my foundation on. What a difference! Shrinks pores and levels out skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice primer to conceal pores I’ve tried a lot of the “poreless primers”, both high-end and drugstore price range, and I think this primer is great for its low price. I have pretty dry skin and this works great to create a smooth surface to apply my makeup on (after moisturizing, of course). My only issue, and maybe this is because I have dry patches, is that it gets a little cakey around my nose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from grerat value This is the first primer I bought. I found it works well, but it's not amazing. It smells funny, but tha's ok. I needed to rebuy, and this time I bought the e.l.f lock on foundation glue. I need something a bit more than what this offers as I have dry patches and i want to cover them. Otherwise, I think this is a great product. if the new primer had not been released, i would have re bought this one.

I like this primer and it minimizes my pores well and i like the coverage afterwards, but it only lasts a few hours and my foundation is sliding off. What can i do to still use this but my face not be so oily?

Asked by: andrea92
Set your foundation with Powder.. Make sure you are not moving your makeup around your face, push the powder in don't swipe. And lastly setting spray

IS THE TEA TREE OIL WHY THIS SMELLS LIKE GASOLINE?

Asked by: GRAM
I know the smell you're talking about, although I don't think it's gasoline... more like straight up WD-40. Low grade tea tree oil smells like burned rubber and that's exactly what it smells like. I had the same thought when I first put it on, I'm scared to use it. I don't want to put something that smells like that on my face earthier. I threw mine away after the first use. I broke out afterwards also.

Is this produce suppose to have an odor. Because the one I bought smiles like kerosene or some strong odor.

I had the same thought about the odor -and yes kerosene came to mind! But when I read the ingredients the Tea Tree Oil was the ah-ha moment.

I don't currently break out but I did couple weeks ago and I'm afraid that I will in the future. Which primer should I buy? Poreless primer or Blemish Control Face Primer? Thank you!

Asked by: Phoebe Nguyen
If you have active break outs, we suggest Blemish Control Primer, as the Salicylic Acid and other ingredients will help to control the breakouts.
