These ultra-silky and lustrous eyeshadows look like a powder but feel like a cream, allowing for a smooth and flawless application. The luminous, shimmery formula creates a gorgeous range of looks for both day and night. Use dry for a shimmery, pigmented wash of color or wet for a more intense look.

  • Apply the eyeshadow dry all over the eyelid with an eye contour brush for a subtle wash of color or apply wet for a vibrant effect.
  • Choose a light color from the prism eyeshadow palette to apply all over the eyelid as a base or to highlight.
  • Next, apply a medium shade in the crease with a crease brush to contour.
  • Then, apply the darkest shade to line the eye with an angled liner brush for depth and a smoky look.

I had been planning on reordering it when, to my surprise, it was in the most recent 'free gift with purchase'! I got all excited to through out my new one but decided to swatch them first. The first three shades are the same, but my old one looked just like the picture shown for this product, progressively getting darker. The new one looks like the last four shades are the same with slightly warmer or cooler tones. I LOVED the deep brown in my original. If you prefer the lighter shades over the darker shades then go ahead and pick it up. If you want a wide range of shades you should pass until they fix the quality control on this thing.

I was wondering if you all items are Vegetarian or its got non-Animal ingredients. thanks

All elf cosmetics are vegan (yay!!). The one thing elf sells that is NOT vegan/ vegetarian is the $1-2 white Essential brush line, most of which are made of animal hair; all other brushes are synthetic/ vegan.  Hope that helps!!

Just to alleviate any confusion, many/ most of the white $1-2 brushes - the "essential" line are made of animal hair & thus are NOT vegan.
