Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay. Not Amazing. I got this for .50 during a sale so I can't expect too much haha. I purchased the color "smoked violet" and it is a really pretty purple shade, but it is a bit smudgy and did transfer to my lids a bit when using in the normal way. However, these pencils are so soft and smooth that I'd recommend using them to smoke out the undereye area instead of all over!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth and sharp This is incredible for a dollar. I bought it in black and am super impressed by how easily it went on. Waterline immediately black. Using with the matte setting spray and it stays put all day. Love it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard as rock, smoked violet is a hazy blue. I just got this, and it's one of those awful pencils that just scratches your eye. You can probably soften it by heating or something, but that is just a hassle. It's much easier to just buy a product that works.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad for a buck I really like how this eyeliner glides on smoothly but unfortunately it doesn't last all day, I would recommend buying something else if you want something that's long lasting, oh and I really like the cap/sharpener duo...very convenient!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Golden olive: rough from day 1 + color is off I read the reviews and thought I can just tape the opening in the sharpener-cap hybrid if thats the only issue. But really on the hand, the swatch was creamy, but on the eyes it was so rough and barely showed up :( Also the color was off, theres no golden in the "golden olive" one, it was a dark army green

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Nonsense Eyeliner I just bought all the colors and I am very happy with all of them. The consistency and colors are all great. And no more hunting for my sharpener with the sharpener in the cap! All this for a dollar a piece.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I use it daily And it works! Looks nice, love the built-in sharpener. I have a habit of rubbing my eyes (thank you, allergies) amd by the end of the day it's a bit smudged. Not bad for the price, though!

I am thinking of buying the black eyeliner i have had experience with pencils before and was wondering if the top is quite creamy and soft and easy to apply not hard and sharp top

Does anyone know if the nude color could be used on the waterline?

Asked by: RissaRoo
Yes! I am a guy and love using it on the water line. Gives a subtle look but makes eyes really stand out. Doesn't hurt and you don't feel them.

Please describe eye pencils in terms of how they set. I want it creamy and easy to apply and then I want it to stay put. If it has to be set with a powder to stop it smudging I don't need it. Does satin mean greasy?

Asked by: Deedeeann
No, Satin does not mean greasy. Satin finishes are neither matte or shimmer, they are more a luminous creamy soft finish, just like satin itself, which the finish gets its name from. For no smudging, I would recommend a matte finish instead!
