- Prep your skin: Start with a clean and moisturized face..
- Prime: Apply your primer to prep skin and help extend the wear of your makeup.
- Choose your shade: Select the concealer shade that matches your skin tone. If you're unsure, you can try our Virtual Try On or Shade Finder.
- Apply and blend: Dot brightener onto under-eye area before blending out. Layer under Soft Glam Satin Concealer for a wide-awake look. Pair with Soft Glam Satin Foundation.
- Finish your look: Apply contour/bronzer, blush and setting/finishing powder to complete your look.
What’s the difference between peach vs. orange vs. pink correctors for dark circles?
Peach, orange or pink can all be used as color-correctors for dark circles, depending on your skin tone. For example, light pink shades are often best for fair skin tones whereas dark pink, orange or peach shades can help color-correct dark circles in deeper skin tones.
What is the best way to blend a color corrector: brush, sponge or fingertip?
You can apply both Soft Glam Satin Concealer and Soft Glam Brightening Corrector using your fingertips, a sponge or a brush, depending on your desired finish look. The Tap & Blend Concealer Brush will help blend the formulas into skin for a seamless, airbrushed finish.
What’s the difference between a color corrector and a concealer? Do I need both?
It depends on your skin’s concerns! The biggest difference between concealers and color-correctors is that concealers are matched to your skin tone, whereas a color-corrector is not designed to match skin tones. Instead, color-correctors are designed to visibly counteract or correct dark circles, discoloration or redness by offsetting the color associated with each concern. In order to achieve an even complexion, it’s important to layer your tone-specific concealer over color-correctors.
Should I set my color corrector with powder?
