Rated 1 out of 5 by from If I could give this a 0 I would! Facial Burns! I bought this foundation be cause I have had an on going battle with I thought I would give this a try..I have been using acne face washes as well thinking that it should be okay...well NO! I have had other foundation like Clinique that were acne fighting foundation and never had this happen!! I put this foundation on Friday and really didn’t notice a whole lot..excellent coverage! Then Saturday I noticed how dry around my mouth I didn’t put anything on thinking it was my acne wash..Sunday more drying out and peeling...then Monday..I put this foundation on and not a lot either since I had a lot of drying..during the day I felt my face getting hot and it was warm to the touch!! I noticed that my face was getting worse! I got home as fast as I could to was this off and I saw BURNS on my face!! For one why tea tree?! Do you know hot potent it is!!! I guess not! Then Tuesday rolls around and I was so embarrassed to go to work and have people look at my face! I will NEVER buy this again you need better warnings about this! Or fix your formula!! I hope I don’t have scars from this!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from nice texture, but VERY ORANGE Very orange and not at all what I'd expect porcelain to look like. Very disappointed in the limited shades elf makes in this foundation. The price is very reasonable though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flawless finish Love this product so much, just please make a better shade range. I can’t use this product unless I have a tan (which is very rare), but I love it every time I do. Would love to be able to use this daily.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great for my skin but not light enough! I really love how well it can be evenly applied, but it isn't light enough for my skin tone. I bought porcelain thinking it would be light enough. It has a yellow undertone to it and I need lighter with pink undertones. Please create more options!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed! So I started experiencing acne about 6 months ago for the first time in my life. I’m almost 26 years old, and it seemed no matter what brand of foundation I tried it would always leave my skin irritated. I can not express enough how nice this foundation feels. I have very dry, very sensitive skin, and this foundation has yet to pose a problem! It doesn’t cause more breakouts, and it’s a pretty decent coverage. I’ve tried hourglass, Sephora’s brand, maybelline, and a ton of other brands. I’m so happy I stumbled on this product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great coverage, limited shade range. I LOVE how full coverage this foundation is. I suffer from cystic acne and scarring, and this foundation is the first I've found that provides adequate coverage. Downside is, the lightest shade is still a little too dark for me and makes me look just slightly orange. Mixing with my Light Ivory Flawless Finish Foundation foundation helps some, but I am going to order the white mixer too to lighten it up a bit more, because the coverage is just too good for me to not keep buying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My acne is smaller now after a few days I got this at target. The coverage is great, although it doesnt help your pores so get the pore putty primer. I was shocked to see the acne I've had on my cheeks forever actually get smaller! And this is after just a couple days

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Porcelain I am a red head and I like my fair skin. This is not very fair at all. I didn't use it enough to decide if it felt nice or spread evenly. But if you are looking for true porcelain, this is not it.

Is it best to use a primer or not?

Asked by: Cpsmith
That is a personal choice, but we do recommend using a primer to create a smoother base for makeup application.

Is the porcelain shade lighter or is the ivory shade lighter? On the computer the shades look similar and it is hard to tell. I need the lightest one possible so to me I would think porcelain would be the lightest, but it looks darker than ivory on my scr

Asked by: claire85
Ivory is lighter and more yellow-toned. Porcelain is a bit darker but not by much and is more pink-toned.
