Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pretty I got 'California' as a freebie with one of my purchases and it is just so lovely! I didn't find any problem with the pigment, firmness, or opaqueness of this set. All colors went on smoothly with brush and finger

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Meh I received this as part of my "free gift with purchase" when i spent $25 or more. I hate it. You cannot pick up pigment on any brush unless you scrape the color with something else first, and even then it just adds a patchy shimmer where you applied it, all the same color. Glad I got this as a free gift and not something i paid for!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality I couldn’t wait for this palette, but was so disappointed when I got it. Tried to swatch dry-nothing. Tried to swatch wet-nothing. No matter what I try there’s NO pigment! Save yourself money, skip this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful shine I have loved this palette from the first day I bought it. Goes on soft and pretty with a dry brush and goes on with a beautiful shine with a wet brush.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard to get color onto Eyes I could not get any pigment onto my eyes from the palette. I tried the applicator that came with it. I tried a brush and my finger. still not color. I would recommend a different palette. Elf eye shadows are usually great and I love them, but not this baked one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful This product is so hard that it won’t even transfer to my make up brush. It’s absolutely useless when I rub my fingers across the top of it no pigment comes transfers. do not purchase this

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Pigmentation I have never been a fan of "baked" products. I think they are too hard which makes it difficult to get enough product on your bush to actually use. However, I got this palette as a free gift with my last order. I did a swatch of each color on the inside of my arm and you couldn't even see the colors. When I actually used it to do my look, I had to spray my brush and it was still difficult to get this product on the brush and blended onto my eyelids. I haven't used it since, it's not even in my makeup bag and will probably give it away, as I'm not likely to use it again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointment I received this palette in California as a gift with my last purchase. I was excited with I received it because the colors look beautiful, and perfect for my style. Unfortunately, it seems to be a waste of time trying to use it. The colors have no pigment, and the only way I can tell that I've even swiped the color is by the little flakes in the tray around it.

I have tried to apply some of these shades to my lid and it doesn't really seem to appear pigmented. Why is this the case? Do I need to do anything special?

Everyone is saying to wet your brush and/or the shadow itself

I truly love these baked eyeshadows. I can have some shimmer in a professional setting and still look professional. I use this in the Toast daily. But I would like to know, are your products, or any of the ingredients, tested on animals?

Asked by: Jinxie
Please note that none of our products are tested on animals.

People have said to wet the brush to get more pigment out of the baked eye shadows but, at the risk of sounding stupid, what are you supposed to wet your brush with? Water? I don't know what I'm doing

Asked by: ihaveosgd
wet a q-tip with water and rub it on the shadow round then apply
