Depends on what you're looking for...

I like both colors and they look great on. I would prefer to have them in separate pallets so I can use a bigger brush without getting both colors on it and because I'm so pale, it makes a big difference if I get the dark side in the wrong spot.

Great for beginners

This was my first highlighter and I loved it! I recommend for first beginners.

Subtly highlighting!

Great for fair skin; it adds a light glow. The bronzer wasn't too dark, but again, that worked well with my fair complection, although I think if you have darker skin it might not be the best.

Great for fair complexions

I cannot use any form of blush because I look sunburnt. If you are fair skinned, this gives a awesome, subtle pop to your cheeks. It's not really bronzing..so if you have a darker complexion it will be non-existent. But, for fair skin...use this.

A Concept and Its Execution

I like elf's baked highlighter but don't use too much bronzer, so when I saw this product, I was like, huh, why not? I'll use at least 50%. I think it will remain that way, because I do like the highlighter: it gives a beautiful sheen and can be built up to be blinding. I'm not in love with the bronzer half, however. Maybe it's my preference for cream/liquid bronzer or more powdery ones that can be buffed away, but I feel like baking is just not the ideal formula for bronzer. I think I will continue using it, because it's not horrible and definitely usable, but the bronzer is not on the same league as the highlighter. I also am not the biggest fan of the fact that you have to be careful with your brush, lest you dab into the bronzer and muddy up the look. I think elf was thinking that maybe you can do one swipe on a wide brush and do one sweep onto the cheek, but it just doesn't work like that. The concept could have worked, I guess, but the execution just didn't come close to that.

Beautiful

I bought this duo last week and I have to admit I was skeptic but decided to try it since it was on sale. I was curious to see how it would perform compared to their other baked highlighters that I had to scrape the top layer off in the past to get it to work and I was so surprised when I had immediate color payoff. Just two brush dips and I had the most beautiful wet and glowy highlight without having to scrape like I had in the past. The bronzer though I was not blown away but for such a cheap price it is definitely worth it. The bronzer has a bit of a sheen to it but nothing to deter me away, it is just not as pigmented as the highlighter. Overall I’m glad I accidentally ordered two for a backup because this duo performs better than some of my high end products!

My favorite highlighter!!

I’ve reordered this at least three times now! It’s super flattering on my skin and can be built up for a more intense look! I use the bronzer side as eyeshadow!
