Rated 5 out of 5 by from You must scrape off 1st layer of product!!! With every baked product I've ever owned (including the $27 L.G. baked highlighters) you MUST scrape off the top layer to get at the pigment or it will appear that they aren't pigmented. Baked cosmetics start out as a cream and when cooked, harden up. Just like when you bake bread, the outside layer is all crust, right? Get rid of that crust and the soft yummiest remains! It would be nice if they explained that, though...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's pretty chill sis, let me tell you. If you wanna be poppin on a budget then this is defiantly for you. You can totally go for the soft subtle glow or blind your neighbors, it's up to you. Anyways I think the only downside is that you have to scrape off the top layer to get that pigment. But other than that it's all good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice highlight, not so nice application process Like the highlight that it brings, but it is a little difficult to apply. I have to really press the brush against the product in order to it to stick. But when it does stick to the brush, looks just amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Buy I love this product. I used my fingertips to rub off the top protective layer and was able to easily apply this to my face. I have dark skin and the apricot glow leaves a beautiful golden shine on my skin tone. Will definitely repurchase when this runs out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BLINDING. BUILDABLE. A super beautiful highlight! It works with my skin tone nicely and it lasts all day. You can use a little product for a softer glow or use ELF's highlighter brush for a more intense glow. (The photo attached is a low quality mirror selfie after having the highlight on for 4 hours I think. (It definitely lasts longer than four hours though.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from really pretty I wish it was easier to pick up with the brush, but fingertips work great too. The color is buildable so it can suit whoever, no matter if you like sheer or in your face glow./ I have very fair skin tone and it works great for me. I tried it on my cheeks, brow bone, nose bridge, shoulders, top of my lip. It even looks great on eye eye lid without makeup. The price is amazing as well

Which highlighter should I get if I have tan skin? I wear light/medium or "light beige" in foundation, so that's what my skin is like. I've been using Moonlight, but it's a little too white. I was thinking Apricot??

Asked by: Rosette
Apricot definitely

I have the PALEST skin (as in, no drugstore concealers are light enough for me), and I have freckles. How light is moonlight pearls? Would it look as though I've visibly swiped a dark colour across my cheekbones, or would it look semi-decent?

Asked by: nabi
I have pale skin too. This is great for me. It is very light.

What shade is recommended for people with pale skin?

Asked by: Clozzaxx
the palest colour of the makeup revolution baked highlighters are even better than elf baked highlighters, sadly makeup revolution does not have a shade like apricot glow-it is my favourite shade

is the new apricot color good for very pale skin? it looks kinda dark in the picture but i cant tell

Asked by: Nickyoo
Apricot gold is a bronze gold colour best suited for those with darker shades as it compliments browns. Pale skin looks best with the color moonlight pearls in my opinion as silvery colours best compliment lighter tones.
