Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay. I bought this about 2 months ago and tried to use it for a preformance but the product would not get on the brush. I ended up having to take the entire container and drag it across my face to get the product on and even then almost nothing showed up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from elf, please reformulate!! moonlight pearls is my holy grail, it's honestly so perfect!? like i've tried so many high end highlights and most do not reflect light the way this does i don't know how to describe it, you'd have to try it yourself but its beautiful. the only and most annoying problem is how you have to scrape off the layer, as so many people have said. but i know that elf can reformulate it so it isn't as dry or have a weird film on top of it because their baked blush in pinktastic is stunning and is baked and is a highlighter for most people yet it's very smooth and creamy and you don't have to remove a layer to get it to work. also not everyone who buys this product will have watched youtubers that say to scratch of the top layer, so you're losing a lot of customers! please reformulate!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok... It doesn't work unless you scape off the first coat. It is very pretty when you do though :) It's kind of messy too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's Okay... (IMMA PASS) [HONESTLY THOUGH?] BEFORE I start this story, let me warn you, I do know a thing or two about makeup. I do NOT justify what I did, or how I applied this product. But, you wanted to know. If you look at this highlighter the first thing you think of is, WOW! It's so beautiful, just sitting there in the neatly encased packaging. The thing is It looks fantastic inside the case, but once you apply it... nada, nothing, no thing. I bought my first highlighter from elf, and in which was this product. I tried to apply it with a brush, however when I rubbed the brush in the tray and looked at the bristles... I was sad to see a clean brush. I tried again, nothing. I tried, even more, pushing and shoving my brush into the tray. Still no sight of highlight. Then I tried using my middle finger. Rubbing my finger into the product, a little came off. However, when I placed the product on my cheekbones, nose, and cupids bow nothing showed up. There was a slight glitter, but nothing noticeable. I then noticed that the product was shaped into a half sphere, so I grabbed that product whole... and started using the whole tray to rub it into my cheekbone. FINALLY, I got that beautiful gold pigment onto my darn face. It was good for a while, and the process worked. But the product fell out of it's casing, so I had to mix it with another liquid highlighter from a different brand. I WOULD NOT recommend. But, it was a fun story to tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FAVORITE HIGHLIGHT Okay so I’ve had this highlighter for a few months now and it is still my favorite highlighter I have. I have a Becca highlighter but I always end up going back to this one. I use Moonlight Pearls and it just looks so beautiful. You can put a little on for a more natural glow or pack it on for a blinding highlight.

Which highlighter should I get if I have tan skin? I wear light/medium or "light beige" in foundation, so that's what my skin is like. I've been using Moonlight, but it's a little too white. I was thinking Apricot??

Asked by: Rosette
Apricot definitely

I have the PALEST skin (as in, no drugstore concealers are light enough for me), and I have freckles. How light is moonlight pearls? Would it look as though I've visibly swiped a dark colour across my cheekbones, or would it look semi-decent?

Asked by: nabi
I have pale skin too. This is great for me. It is very light.

is the new apricot color good for very pale skin? it looks kinda dark in the picture but i cant tell

Asked by: Nickyoo
Apricot gold is a bronze gold colour best suited for those with darker shades as it compliments browns. Pale skin looks best with the color moonlight pearls in my opinion as silvery colours best compliment lighter tones.
