Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s okay It’s a really nice color and I was excited to try it. The problem is that I have to basically scrape product off in order to get a little payoff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best highlighter I've used various different highlighters and this one is my favorite. The color is beautiful. What I noticed with many of the negative reviews is that they said there is no pigment or it doesn't go on. Honestly, like with anything in makeup it's about using the correct brush. If you use a loose brush it doesn't pick up the highlighter very well and therefore it won't go on well either. The brush I use is a flat blush brush because it works the best. Its more dense so it grabs the color more. I swirl is around a few times before I apply it. It works everytime and is very noticeable. It does have a lot of pigment and the color is nice. The Apricot Glow is in my opinion the best color. The moonlight pearl is lighter in color so its not as noticeable as the Apricot Glow. I have very fair skin but I honestly think its a great color for any skin shade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Subtle or Glam Needed a sheer, affordable, and classy highlighter for a tropical wedding I was going to be attending in the summer of 2017 in BALI that would last. (90℉ and 100% humidity, in the mid-day!) Walked into my local E.L.F. and tried the Moonlight Pearls. OMG, the perfect classy shear glimmer just gives you that "inner glow" when you strobe just right. Not only did this highlighter last me for about 6 hours in a tropical wedding, but it's also a fabulous inner eye highlight. I loved it so much I came back to buy more and saw the newly released Apricot Glow. PEACHY GOLDEN HEAVEN!! Perfect for my medium-caramel color with yellow undertones. I did a peachy nude natural glam look for Coachella 2018 and the apricot glow really pulled it all together. I did as suggested and scraped the top layer off and the color payoff is great. Honestly, I like the E.L.F. highlighter more than the Artist Couture diamond glow powders which are more than 6x the price. I lean heavily towards very simple, classic, timeless, natural glam or "my face but better" make-up looks (people call it the 'no make-up make-up looks), and the E.L.F. baked highlighters do it for me. If you put on just a tiny bit, everyone just tells you you look "extra radiant" but they can't quite tell why that is, whereas the diamond glow powders are not as finely milled and pressed and the particles show up more obviously on your skin. (I still love my diamond glow, I just love E.L.F. more) What I love about these highlighters is the buildability of it. Photos attached are FULL beat with E.LF.

Is the Moonlight Pearls highlighter eye safe? For instance, if I wanted to apply it as an eyeshadow, would it be safe for me to do that on my eyes?

Asked by: Sara28

I would choose Moonlight Pearls if you are looking for a brighter highlight and Blush Gems if you are looking for a more natural, rosy highlight.

Which highlighter should I get if I have tan skin? I wear light/medium or "light beige" in foundation, so that's what my skin is like. I've been using Moonlight, but it's a little too white. I was thinking Apricot??

Asked by: Rosette
Apricot definitely

I have the PALEST skin (as in, no drugstore concealers are light enough for me), and I have freckles. How light is moonlight pearls? Would it look as though I've visibly swiped a dark colour across my cheekbones, or would it look semi-decent?

Asked by: nabi
I have pale skin too. This is great for me. It is very light.

is the new apricot color good for very pale skin? it looks kinda dark in the picture but i cant tell

Asked by: Nickyoo
Apricot gold is a bronze gold colour best suited for those with darker shades as it compliments browns. Pale skin looks best with the color moonlight pearls in my opinion as silvery colours best compliment lighter tones.
