Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better for darker skin, but still I'm really white, like too white for ELF's acne fighting foundation (porcelain, the lightest shade, is too orangey for me), so Blush Gems is a little too dark for my skin tone. Moonlight Pearls would be a better shade for my face, but besides the color issue, this is pretty great. Pigmentation is nice. I make it glow even more buy spraying some fixing spray on my brush pefore applying. For 5$, it's pretty good :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! I love using this on my brides!! You do have to scrape off the first layer to get to the good stuff but then you get amazing results!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from this highlighter is bad quality I purchased this highlighter and after only a little bit it started to wear down and not work well I’m very disappointed and so is everyone else that I talk to. I will make sure to tell people not to buy this product ever

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No pigment I have the Moonlight Pearls and it looks so pretty, but does not transfer onto the skin wet or dry. I wish Elf would come out with a good highlighter. I love their products, but this highlighter is not it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TIPS DOWN BELOW! So it's been a while since I've bought this, but I do remember that I liked it. SOME TIPS THAT I HAVE LEARNED HOWEVER: 1. Since it IS a baked highlight, it is actually recommended to scrape the first layer off of the top and then dip in with a brush, sponge, etc. This helps get better payoff! You can tell a bit of a texture difference too! 2. Also! If you want good pigmentation payoff, you should wet your brush or sponge with spray before hand. This helps to pick up the product better 3. OR, spray your face with setting spray and then apply highlight. You can either do this on its own or in combination with the previous tip Hope this helps!

Is the Moonlight Pearls highlighter eye safe? For instance, if I wanted to apply it as an eyeshadow, would it be safe for me to do that on my eyes?

Asked by: Sara28

I would choose Moonlight Pearls if you are looking for a brighter highlight and Blush Gems if you are looking for a more natural, rosy highlight.

Which highlighter should I get if I have tan skin? I wear light/medium or "light beige" in foundation, so that's what my skin is like. I've been using Moonlight, but it's a little too white. I was thinking Apricot??

Asked by: Rosette
Apricot definitely

I have the PALEST skin (as in, no drugstore concealers are light enough for me), and I have freckles. How light is moonlight pearls? Would it look as though I've visibly swiped a dark colour across my cheekbones, or would it look semi-decent?

Asked by: nabi
I have pale skin too. This is great for me. It is very light.

is the new apricot color good for very pale skin? it looks kinda dark in the picture but i cant tell

Asked by: Nickyoo
Apricot gold is a bronze gold colour best suited for those with darker shades as it compliments browns. Pale skin looks best with the color moonlight pearls in my opinion as silvery colours best compliment lighter tones.
