Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fix the box colors to match the palette The colors on the package are much different than what’s in the palette. The box colors are more pink and purple. The actually palette is more orange and brown. I bought this for the pinks but when I opened it I had orangy browns. The colors are still ok tho I’m still using it, but it’s more of a bronzing/contour palette rather than a blush/highlight palette which I thought it was based on the packaging.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not bad, but box looked way different. So, first of, I bought this in person at a target. The online page is correct, but the physical box it come sin is way off. My main problem with elf is that the boxes showing the color and most of the time incorrect, and sometimes don't show the actual product, so you can't tell. So, I'm talking about comparison of the outside box and the actual product. First, the highlighter is a bit more of a shimmer than looks on the box, and slightly more champagne-like, but still pretty. Next, the bronzer was darker than the box, and as an extremely pale person looking for very natural makeup, it was a little disappointing. Finally, the blushes. On the box, it looks like they are nice pinks (kinda like "blushing" and the aqua blush from elf), but in reality, they are really peachy-orange (a little oranger than the website) and not similar at all. They were all very creamy and nice powder, just very misleading packaging. Will be returning.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Palette photo colors way off. Swipes correct. As other have noted, the colors are all super lightly pigmented (love this!) the two blush tones are very coraley orange, matte and almost identical in shade. Odd that they would include two so similar. The lower right darker square is heavily orange based and can not be used for contour. The top left square has shimmer but a brown tone so doesn't work as a highlighter, or able to be swirled together with the other tones, for us pale ladies. Packaging is beautiful but I don't care about that at all. I will only be able to use the two blush shades and maybe the shimmery shade for my body. I love the concept, just wish it came in a more cool-toned lighter and warmer darker- toned version.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a lot of pigment but... Not too pigmented when applied. Best for a soft look. I love it for an every day look.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a fan I have a very fair skin and weirdly enough, the highlighter shade looks ORANGE on my skin without any sheeny effect, so I use it as a blush. I wonder if there's anyone else who has the same experience. The contour shade is usable, but it's too yellow (and not grey enough) to mimic shadow on my face. The two blush shades are okay, but not particularly pretty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous hint of sunshine! I'm not even sure why this one found its way into my shopping cart, but it did, and I'm glad. With the sale at the time, I paid $3.20 for it, so I'm sure that was part of the draw, and for that price it was definitely worth it. But this is such a gorgeous palette! My skin is medium to light, depending on how much sun I've gotten that week. I live in Haiti, but I work as a professor and so I'm indoors much of the time. I also have a fairly vigorous skincare regimen that keeps my skin on the bright side rather than super tanned (which it would be otherwise). This palette, first of all, is quite a bit darker than the photo shows, I think. Maybe not all that dark, but it's well pigmented. The great thing about the palette is that the top left and bottom right are bronzer colors, with blushes on the opposite corners. But when you just kinda smash your big face brush into the whole thing and swirl, you end up with a really lovely glow. And used by themselves, the blushes and bronzers really can't go wrong! They are just almost universally flattering for anyone with light-medium skin or lighter. The lightest bronzer shade is actually more of a finishing powder to me, because it's more about a slight shimmer than much color. But for a lighter skin tone, it would be quite lovely. I love that I can pull this out when my other bronzers just seem too heavy, but when I want to warm up my face a bit. Also, the mirror is fantastic!

Yes, it gives you a natural look. You can also layer/ build up the pigment if you want a more flushed look.

Am I the only person who does not know which palette is s which?  Can you please tell me in order, a visual diagram would be best, which is the bronzer, blushes, highlighter?

Asked by: Janno
The highlighter is in the top left corner. The blush is beside the highlighter and below the highlighter. The bronzer is in the bottom right corner.

What are the finishes on each product? I'm not okay with shimmer blush or bronzer on myself.

Asked by: Hana13
The blushes and bronzers are a very wearable matte. I'm not a huge fan of shimmer either, but believe it or not, the highlighter ended up being my favorite one out of the 4! As far as highlighters go, it's very subtle.

Will this pallete be good for olive toned people?

Asked by: nelle
Olive and tan aren't interchangeable terms. Tan is a skin color, and olive describes a skin undertone. Tan skin colors do often have olive undertones, so that is why the terms get interchanged quite a bit. However, fair skin can have olive undertones, too. To answer your question: If you are referring to olive undertones, then yes this pallet might work. It does beautifully for me, and I have light skin w/olive undertones. These shades go on very sheer, so it's just a light wash of color that doesn't pull too warm or too cool. The bronzer is one of the very few that doesn't pull too red on me, and the highlighter makes me look dewy without it looking like I'm wearing any highlighter at all. All 4 shades are easy to work with. Being both light and olive makes it tricky to find cheek colors, but I use this $8 pallet way more than I do any of my premium brands. If you are referring to olive as a synonym for tan, then probably not- at least not by themselves. With these colors being so sheer, you might have to apply several layers to reach the level of color payoff that you are wanting. I had to do 2 layers just to get the peachy-coral blush (which is slightly darker and more vibrant than the pink blush) to show up on me in the middle of February, but I think they look lovely on tan skin as a setter for cream/liquid blushes, bronzers, and highlighters. That's how I use this pallet in the summer since I do tan pretty quickly for having such light skin during the rest of the year. This is the only cheek color pallet that I have been able to successfully use- in some way or another- year round, as someone with olive undertones.

Can you find this item in stores or is it only online?

Asked by: Grace C
Target has them in their $7 wake-up and make-up kit. The kit comes with another 6 products as well as this compact. Still isn't worth the cost IMO.
