Rated 5 out of 5 by Jackiec515 from One of my favorite products from elf! I've been using this for almost a year and I absolutely love it! It has a very nice, subtle, fruity scent, and is a really good consistency. I love the massaging beads; they really help to spread the lotion and penetrate into the skin. I have sensitive skin and this has never given me a problem! I used to have a lot of acne, and ever since I have been using this, I have had significantly less acne, (one small pimple every few months) and it is the only thing I have changed in my routine. I use this at night or in the morning, but I find that I prefer to use it it for during the day so that the "beauty shield" protects my skin from harmful things that can contribute to acne. At night I usually use the nourishing night cream, which I also love! Elf is really stepping up their game, lately!!! I have convinced my roommate to buy both the night cream and this product and she loves them!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Asphaltsally from Perfect moisturizer Holy cow! I love this stuff. It smells fantastic. It has ingredients that nourish the skin. It pumps up the skin. I actually use it before ELF Foundation Serum because it's a great base. The foundation goes on smoothly and gives better coverage with this under it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RavenMcCoy from OMG, there are so many great things about this cream. I am in love. Pros: * I have very sensitive skin, and after a week, I have not had a reaction to this cream. New products are always a gamble, but this is great, even gentle enough to use around my eyes * Smells light and fresh, a little like a creamsicle * My skin is very soft and smooth in the morning, and looks and feels calmed * The roller balls feel AWESOME and relaxing, and ensure even distribution of product * It doesn't take much cream to cover my whole face, so I feel like this is a very good value * Cap twists and locks to "off" position for mess-free travel Cons: * It doesn't contain retinol, so this isn't an anti-aging or anti-wrinkle night cream; know what you're getting * It's kind of slick and highly moisturizing, so maybe not appropriate if you're still dealing with oily or adolescent skin * The only place the roller balls don't feel awesome is the forehead, as others have said, but PRO TIP, raise your eyebrows when you go over your forehead so you're not pressing as much right on the bone, and it feels much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kristen E from Unique packaging! There are a million good moisturizers on the market...and this is a good moisturizer! The massager packaging is a new one to me however, kind of a neat way to mix it up and bring circulation to the skin! Balls are cooling and refreshing. Nice job elf!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MBelfer from Best night time moisturizer and best elf product This is the best elf product I have ever purchased. I also have the serum which is good but I this overnight cream is the star. This moisturizes for an extended period and not just initially. It is great for dry skin and for the winter. I have super dry skin and with some creams I have dry patches reappear when I hit the winter air. This elf cream I use as a day and night moisturizer because I don't have to worry or check the mirror to see if my face looks dry! It has the right amount of oil where it has a nice slip, feels moisturizing but it isn't greasy. I have eczema, super dry and cystic acne prone skin and this moisturizer moisturizes but does not break me out or set off my allergies. It also smells lightly citrus like oranges. I am not usually a fan of citrus or scented face products but this is lovely. The bottle and packaging is also unique and great quality. There is a hole in the middle of the massage balls to dispense the product if you don't feel like using the massage feature. The bottle also has an easy lock and unlock feature which was perfect for my trip this christmas. I will be repurchasing over and over. I recommend this to everyone.

Hello, Can you tell me the concentration of the Ascorbic acid in this product, please? Thank you, Betsy
I have no way of knowing the concentration (by %) of Vitamin C inbthis cream but I can tell you that there are two stable forms of it in this cream and one form is not too far down from the backbone ingredients for the cream. I would say the amount is pretty decent for a cream. Not a really high % like there might be in a Vitamin C serum, but a decent amount for a moisturizer. I hope that helps :)

It is good for acne?
It shouldn't aggravate acne, inless you are very, very sensitive. I ran all these ingredients into a comedeogenic rating website and a few ingredients came back as only being mildly comedogenic. There is nicotinamide in this cream, which is also called niacinamide, and that is well known to be very good for acne. It fights inflammation and congestion and helps regulate sebum. Also, licorice root also fights inflammation so i think if you used it where you need moisture and lightly everywhere else, you should be fine. Personally, my skin has cleared up when I started oil cleansing and kept my skin well hydrated and used a niacinamide serum. I hope this helps :)

Can you also put it in the freezer? Or can you take the rolling balls part off so I can just put that into the freezer? I want an intense cooling effect, but I don't want to freeze/alter the cream.
We would not recommend freezing the product; however you may refrigerate it if you would like to. The twist cap is not able to be separated from the tube.
