Good product!
I got this a week ago to try it out and I took pics to show the progress and used the side of my face that has a couple dark spots. I definitely noticed a difference immediately which most of the ones I’ve tried do that but this continued to brighten and lighten the dark spots also without breaking out my face. I have pretty sensitive skin and most of these serums either make my skin irritated and turn it red or I break out so I highly recommend this, especially if you have sensitive skin! I look forward to seeing if it makes my dark spots completely disappear! The applicator is easy to use and it comes out pretty lightweight and quick, not as thick as some others.

Beware if you have sensitive skin
It broke me out. If you have sensitive skin, just be cautious.

Vit C serum
I expected a smell because of other serums I've used but the smell is awful, but I will continue to use it to see how my skin does. If it works I'll continue to use it and get over the smell.

Like the one from the dermatologist
This is the closest I have found that is like the over $100 serum from my dermatologist. Yes it has a smell, but it is exactly like the expensive serum. So happy to have an affordable option

Nice serum but HORRIBLE smell!
I bought this item at Target and was excited for the vitamin C and was hoping for a light citrusy smell, but it actually smelled like hot dog water. I couldn't keep on my face long because I kept smelling it. I wish I could use it but I can not get past the smell. I returned product the next day :(

Didn't see any improvements
I don't notice a bad smell like some of the other reviews stated. But, almost through with the bottle and don't notice any change in my skin. Was hoping to fade the dark spots and brighten....

Exceptional!
I knew after one use I would be keeping this product in my regimen. For insight, I have combo, acne prone skin as well as rosacea. I prefer to use vitamin c in my nighttime regimen, and when I tell you I woke up with GLOWING skin, even that would be an understatement. This product is on the “pricier” side for an Elf product, but it’s still affordable and effective. It does have an interesting smell, but it doesn’t turn me away from the product. I’ve noticed a difference in my skin’s appearance and texture since using!

Decent Dupe
For the price, this is beyond fantastic compared to other vitamin C serums around. I don't personally fully mind the smell and found that when I complete my routine (I have had this for a few weeks to slowly move it into my routine) that other serums and moisturizer after using this help the smell go away. I live in a mix climate and am curious to see how this does in the colder months for my skin, but so far it has definitely evened out some skin areas for me.

Why you put ascoric acid
I hate absorbic acid. Why not put THDA? make a cheaper medical grade skincare. Copy Paula’s choice, revision. This vitamin c oxidizes and doesn’t penetrate the lipid layer as deeply. They tried. Want to try the new spf tint though.
