Review of the Elf C-Bright Putty Primer
The Elf C-Bright Putty Primer is a flanker of their popular product, the Putty Primer. The Elf C-Bright Putty Primer claims to brighten and even out the skin with 2% Vitamin C. This primer states that it grips the makeup to provide a long-lasting wear. I am a fan of primers that are created to "grip" the makeup because I don't like to touch up makeup throughout the day. Personally, I have normal to dry skin, so I was excited to try out this product. Upon first application, I warmed the putty primer in my hands before patting it into my face. After patting the primer into my skin, I let it set for a minute. Then, I applied my favorite skin tint and continued with my normal makeup routine. At the end of the day, my makeup looked flawless. I didn't get shiny/greasy or have to touch up. I felt like makeup application was flawless, and all my products glided on smoothly. I didn't experience any irritation or breakouts. This product also doesn't have a scent, which I think is perfect for people with sensitive skin. I honestly love Elf products, and I believe that this product would be perfect for all skin-types—normal, dry, combo, oily. I loved using this product, the Elf C-Bright Putty Primer, and I would highly recommend this product to my family and friends.

Works, but it breaks me out
I love how this primer glides on my skin. It brightens me while setting my pores up for makeup, even on long work days. I have to be on top of my skincare routine, especially in terms of preventative acne care, because this primer slowly breaks me out. I experience this mainly on my cheeks, but also on my forehead and a bit on my chin. I have to take extra care to double cleanse to minimize the acne. I've always dealt with acne, but I've maintained breakouts to be one or two pimples for the past two years. I have a love/hate relationship because my skin will look good at the moment. But I have to deal with my clogged pores after.

Rash / Skin irritated
I don’t usually write negative reviews and love elf, but this product was a miss. I love the original putty primer and wanted to try this one as a replacement. My skin is either allergic to or really irritated by this. My face is rough like it’s been chapped and I got a bumpy rash on my neck and chest. I’m not usually sensitive to products and this was the only change in my routine. It might work for you but I had a reaction.

Super great daily primer with added value!
I had the sample so I started using it. Now, I'm addicted. Super light, blends so well on skin. And knowing that I'm spreading Vitamin C at the same time is super great. I bought the Putty Primer brush and it's an amazing duo. My skin is reactive but this didn't cause any bad reactions. Leaves my skin super soft. My makeup stays all day even after doing cardio and gym. Adore it!
