Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the pricey concealers! I recently had an accident w/a head injury that caused tremendous bruising to my face. I purchased at least six different concealers during my attempts to cover up my black eyes and THIS little $4 creamy color correcting stick did a better job than all of the other brands! I believe that the rich creamy composition is more effective because it gets into little areas under my eyes where there are lines and swelling. Regular C oncealers are too thin and dry for that. The light dark circle corrector is the perfect peach tone for my under eye bruises and dark circles. This has become a staple in my makeup collection. Thanks, ELF!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love this product, I ordered 3 because local stores have discontinued selling them in the color I need (orange/for deep skin tones)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Green is too dark! I bought the green color corrector to hide my redness and acne. It works well as it hides your redness, however it is nearly impossible to blend the green out. Not to mention most foundations (even full coverage ones) will not hide the greenness. If you use too much of this you will look like the Grinch. A lot goes a long way, so really don't use a lot if you decide to get this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way too dark for fair skin This makes it seem like ELF has never even seen a fair skinned person. I got the undereye concealer that was meant for fair skin to cancel out blueish dark circles & initially the packaging assured me it would be the perfect peachy pink corrector like Erase Paste ... Until I opened the packaging and realised that its basically a dark orange colour. Tried using it and it just smeared into an orange mess under my eyes and made them look ten times worse. If you have medium skin or deeper skin tones then this may work well for you but steer well clear if you've got even slightly fair skin. I hate wasting products but I'm going to have to chuck this straight in the bin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way to dark for light skin and wouldn’t blend I bought the green color correcting stick because my face has been breaking out more than normal and it was awful. It was so dark and it wouldn’t blend at all. I feel you get a fair amount of product for the price but it just didn’t work for me. I am very disappointed because I really love elf products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Green is excellent for red marks! I'm normally clear but I'll get the occasional deep pimple. Saw this at the store and decided to give it a go. I'm pleasantly surprised! It does a great job concealing redness and I just use a tiny dab. Little goes a long way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from neutralize hyperpigmentation to match skin tone the only product i've found that neutralized the hyperpigmentation around my mouth without making it look ashy! a little goes a long way. worked great under eyes too. didn't even need to use foundation to cover it because it was a perfect neutralized match with my skin tone!!

is it necessary to use foundation on top of these? im thinking of buying the green one, because my cheeks are always red and blotchy, but i dont wear foundation as often as i used to.

Asked by: alex27
Absolutely. Correcting colors like these are usually always meant to be worn under foundation/concealer. They prevent the undesired colors from showing THROUGH makeup.

I have very dark circles under my eyes, it looks like I have black eyes. I am Native American and I use the caramel foundation, what concealer should I use?

Asked by: Lumbeelady75
The light orange might turn ashy on you.You should probably use the dark orange. You only need a small amount and a little goes a long way. Also make sure to blend really well so it doesn't seep through your concealer.

Do these twist up for more product?

Asked by: RissaC
It's quite a bit of product for the price. I pay 9.99 for the one I regularly use. I just got mine and I'm a caramel complexion; I find it very similar to my Cover Girl Complexion stick for half the price. I love it. I thought the color was going to be off but when I put it on this morning it was surprisingly close. I tend to pick at my break outs so I have dark spots; this worked under my bb cream for the perfect glow.

How much product, in fluid ounces, are you getting?

Asked by: PhoebeC
Your not getting over 3 ounces of product. That might be the weight of the entire container and product. I threw out the packaging already so I can't say how much your getting. But it's quite a bit. Mine arrived today so I can eyeball the product. I don't have a tape measure handy, but it measures somewhere between 1/4" and 1/2" in diameter. Closer to the later than the former. It twists up, and is at least 1" long BUT I would say it's a bit longer, but I don't think it's quite 1.5" inches. But I could be wrong. But that gives you an idea about it. I haven't used it yet to use it as it's intended, however I did do a swatch on my hand and I'm in love. The consistency is about perfect because it's not to hard and not to soft. I have several lipstick style concealers that are other brands, and yesterday I just grabbed one of the three brands I own and I couldn't believe how hard it was and it's been that way since I bought it. Which is why I have others, and I threw it out. (finally) But the ELF one is just the right consistency, not to soft and not to hard. And I will be stocking up on these, and I won't be rebuying the color correctors in the palette. The color is very different than the palette and that's in a good way.
