Rated 4 out of 5 by Pinkatron2000 from A great start e.l.f, with some room for growth I purchased this set two and a half weeks ago, and have waited to add a review so as I could start using these products and see how things go. I'm a 40yr old female who grew up in the 80's in a very small town where skin care wasn't really a thing. Most women in my family used oil of olay moisturizer or nivea with some drugstore brand eyeshadow and mascara and called it a regimen. I also made the mistake of living my life without a skin cleanser, toner, or moisturizer, not even knowing about primers until 7 or 8 years ago. Whatever damage has happened, has happened--but I wanted to at least, start taking care of the face I have right now. I don't think it's ever too late to pamper yourself a little bit. Price was prohibitive for me, however, as I only have a part time retail job. e.l.f. was my first choice to check in and see what they have, and 39 dollars (not including shipping) for an exfoliant, cleanser, serum, daily moisturizer, night moisturizer and eye cream is a pretty darn sweet deal if you ask me, as a set with all of this can be far, far more expensive. It took roughly two weeks to arrive, and the package arrived in perfect condition. I was eager to try everything out. EXFOLIANT: The first thing I opened and tried what the exfoliator. I immediately noticed that it was rather difficult to squeeze out of the bottle. It is VERY thick. It has an orangey / beige color to it, and smells faintly of whatever material is in it, but not perfumed. It is neither pleasant nor unpleasant. I don't know how I would describe it, not quite medicine, not quite soap. To test it, I simply wet my face several times in the sink, then began rubbing it into my skin in gentle circles. The exfoliant they use is, thankfully, not at all harsh. I can feel the little bit of grit, and it suds gently, but I do not feel like I am rubbing gravel into my face. It was relatively easy to wash off just splashing water, but I occasionally missed a spot here and there and a face cloth could clean those spots up. My face felt very clean, a little tight but not uncomfortably so. It was definitely clean enough that I knew I would need a moisturizer right away. DAILY CLEANSER: Very, very, very runny. This isn't a problem with texture per se, it's a problem with the TUBE it comes it. The tube is basically the same size and shape and ...probably exactly the same as the tube the exfoliant comes in. With the exfoliant, I feel the packaging and the top is too small for the thickness of it. With the daily cleanser, it is far too big. It is very, very easy to accidentally open the daily cleanser and get yourself a palmful of it instead of a pea sized amount you really need, as it's very liquidy and reminds me of liquid hand soap / shower soap in consistency. So be CAREFUL when you open it. Tip it to the side, not downward. The cleanser itself is definitely very smooth, soft and easy to apply. It doesn't lather extremely, but will suds up a tiny amount while rubbing it in. A little goes a very long way. It has a scent to it, but I can't pinpoint if it's a medicine like scent or if they were going for perfumed. It left my face feeling squeaky clean and was super easy to rinse completely off. MOISTURE SERUM: A little of this surprisingly goes a long way. The serum was much easier to pump out of the container, no squeezing involved. It has a creamy, but not thick consistency. My nose may be broken, as I didn't detect any scent from this at all. As I rubbed it into my skin, I was thinking the amount a single pump produced may not be enough for my entire face, jaw, and neck--but I was wrong. The serum spread very well across entire face and was able to bring it down my jaw and neck. About 1 minute of rubbing gently in and it was absorbed. It didn't feel greasy or tacky to the touch, but my skin defintely was no longer feeling that very-dry-just-cleaned-feel, if that makes sense? DAILY MOISTURIZER: The daily moisturizer, in my opinion, is definitely scented or perfumed with something. I can't identify what it is, but like the exfoliant, it's neither overwhelming or entirely underwhelming, it just is. I applied this after the serum had been well absorbed and exactly like the serum, it's not too thick, not too thin. It didn't just sit ontop of my skin and become a greasy mess, but again, I did give it a good 1 minute gentle rub into skin. ILLUMINATING EYE CREAM: Supposedly, this eye cream is to help plump, smooth away wrinkles and remove under eye circles and "brighten," your eyes. I have been struggling with eye circles all of my life. I have ALWAYS had blue/brown/beige circles or bags under my eyes, even with a full nights restful sleep and feeling 100%. After two weeks of morning and night daily use, I can say for certain it will NOT work to remove your eye circles. Sorry. What I have noticed is that the skin around my eyes looks much softer, less wrinkled, a little more smooth, and nicely moisturized. I find that when I use eye primer, it tended to dry the skin out and made it feel rough and irritated. Using this eye cream has kept my peepers well moisturized, even with an eye shadow primer. The only negative is that it can take 3-6 minutes for this cream to be fully absorbed. So if you use it on the go and go out into the heat and sweat, you may find the cream mixing with forehead / brow sweat and dripping into your eye. And THAT stings. SO much. OVERNIGHT CREAM: Much like all the other creams and cleansers, a little bit of this goes a long way. This one is a bit thicker and creamier than the serum and moisturizer, and definitely has that odd scent that I think e.l.f. was trying to make delicate and perfume-y, but fell a little short. As perfumes and scents do not bother me, that's fine for me. THIS cream is super moisturizing. I would not recommend using it and then doing ANY activity that makes you sweat afterward, and make SURE you have it well rubbed in / absorbed. It is best, as the name implies, to be a night / before bed cream. If you sweat, the sensation is a bit unpleasant if the cream hasn't been absorbed yet. It almost feels like you have some sort of barrier on your face and the cream feels like it will sweat off if you don't let it absorb. TOO LONG: DIDN'T READ: PROS: Affordable as heck, entire (except for toner) skin care regime. - Good with my oily / combination skin - Scent tolerable, especially if not allergic or sensitive to it - A little goes a very, very long way. Been using it daily and nightly for 2 weeks and have barely even made a dent. - Doesn't sting, burn, or turn my skin red. (Personal experiences may change. Always do a pre-test.) -Makes my skin feel very moisturized - Has helped reduce or smooth a little bit of my 40 years of eye wrinkles. A little. CONS: - The scent is odd. It may very well be intolerable for people who are extremely allergic or sensitive to smells and perfumes. - The daily cleanser bottle's cap is too large for the liquidy cleanser. It runs out very, very easily. You have to be careful and not tip it downward or else you get a surprise handful of cleanser. - The same sized bottle cap is used for the exfoliator and that is TOO small for the very, very thick cream. - The eye cream does NOTHING for my dark circles. So while great for keeping delicate eye skin moisturized, I still look like a caffeine free raccoon running on 1 hour of sleep despite being healthy and well rested. - TAKES A WHILE to absorb into skin. This isn't a slap-it-on-and-go sort of kit. You need to give it a good 5-10 mins before doing any kind of activity that may make you sweat, as it tends to mix with it and can get into your eyes. Ow. RECOMMENDED? Yes. If you are just beginning to get back into, or into, caring for your skin, if you are on a limited budget, do so. It's super affordable and a LOT of skin care product for a very reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ahenry23 from Amazing buy I am so happy with this kit. I have tried to many different products and more expensive brands, but going all into this one has been amazing. They work so well as a team and my skin has been soft and glowing since the first couple of days. I will be replacing each product as they run out! Discloser though I don’t have skin sensitivities, hoping those who do will have the same experience. I highly recommend this line.

Does it work for oily skin?
I agree with most of these questions...when is the skincare regimen going to be back in stock...I want this soon as possible. Going on a trip. And why aren't the ingredients listed in the details? It just lists that it's paraben free and vegan made.
Do you have a kit for oily skin
Is the skin care silicone based?
How do i know when this will be back in stock?
How long will the 39.00 kit last
What ingredients are in the products? I have extremely sensitive skin and break out easily.
