GREAT FOR EYESHADOWS
I love using this brush when I'm applying eyeshadows, pigments, or glitters. I tested them out at the elf store in NYC before I bought them!!

New version is way too stiff
So looking over the dates of the reviews, it seems like the most recent ones focus on how stiff the bristles are, whereas reviews from 2012 or before rave about how soft the brush is... Good to know I didn't just get a dud, then. I ordered a replacement concealer brush after I had used my previous one for a couple of years, but I realized upon opening up the new one that the bristles were far too hard and stiff to be going on my skin, especially in the undereye area. I'm switching to the other concealer brush, because this new version is a huge noooope. What happened here, ELF?

Good
This is a good, average concealer brush. Nothing will beat the Bare Minerals concealer brush, but this one is the next best thing for a lot less.

pretty straight forward, does what it needs to do (blend out concealer). dense brushes but soft on the skin. nothing has shed either so it's great for the price

works well with the hydrating camo concealer but it's a bit pokey so just swipe and not dab too much

It will, I'd recommend applying the concealer with your finger and then going in with this brush to blend. Otherwise it tends to soak up product.

The essentials version is very small and flat, far to small to be effective. The studio concealer brush as larger by flat and stiff. The flawless concealer brush is larger and is the I recommend as it's larger( the same basic shape as an blending brush but bigger) and as far as I've seen is a totally unique shape as far as I've seen.
