Smells great!I love elf lipgloss! I have a few favorites and they're mostly similar. They're thicker than alot of other brands (but in a good way),and high shine But I'm a sucker for a great smelling gloss! So I'm loving it!

it's oki was really excited to try the black shade because i don't have a good black lip gloss, but it was very translucent and the stopped on the bottle would scrape off pretty much all of the product

Good But Not SpecialI think if I had ordered anything but the clear one, this might have been a five star review, but until I do, it's going to get four stars.
I could order any clear, or close to clear lip gloss on this site and it would sit more nicely on the lips, look better, and last longer. If this did something other than smell nice, like work as a plumper, it would at least have that going for it.
I probably have at least one of every lip gloss e.l.f. has put out over the past few years, and they are stellar. Cookies and Dreams doesn't really compare.
Despite the criticism, I am going to give the darker colours a chance because they look interesting. If the colour is right, then I can be a lot more forgiving.

tamp is too smallI like the scent and high gloss formula, but the tamp that squeegees out excess product (a ringlike plastic inside the opening) is too tight. So if u want really glossy smooth lips you have to dip in like 6 ties to get enough gloss. Aslo wish it had SPF, but that's with all things :)

a sticky disasterI bought the shade "brain freeze" which looks exactly like it does in the picture, has a subtle vanilla-y cookie smell, but goes on like molasses. This stuff is so sticky even though it's advertised as a non-sticky gloss. So sticky, that my lips were physically adhered to the rim of my seltzer can. My partner wouldn't even kiss me. Even after wiping it off, my lips still had a hint of sticky.
