Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly pigmented and easy to apply! I've been using this as my only eyeliner for about 10 years now. I love it but the brush it comes with is too thick. I just swap that out for a tiny nail brush and I'm able to get beautiful, rich, black lines in the swirls and patterns I like to paint on my face. I highly recommend this liner for anyone who likes a good dark line that doesn't smudge or wear off. And for only $3 it's a steal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never went to waste. Best cream liner I have ever used. Went on smoothly, clean and last long. Easy to work with and came with an application brush. The amount you get for the price is mind blowing!! Also used for Halloween make up and barely smudged.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brows on point I’ve been using this gel in espresso for over a year now as eyebrow pomade. The color is so perfect, none of that brown with the red tint. It lasts a very long time on the skin. Still on the same pot I bought the first time and I use it everyday. The key is to buy a good brush and make sure to get the brush wet and finely point the tip. I use the essence gel eyeliner brush(1.99). I use to buy Anastasia or benefit brow products but now I save sooo much and my brows look 100x with this product. One product for both your brows and eyeliner is certainly a pro. For someone who has zero eyebrows, this eyeliner has made me feel so much more confident about my eyebrows.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Why doesn't this come with a brush? I was pretty excited about trying this based on reviews and such. I have fantasies of having the ability to create perfect IG wings! But alas, that will likely never be the case. The best I might be able to do is a squiggly raccoon eye, but we work with what we're given! haha In all seriousness, I am rather impressed with the product. It's very well pigmented (I got black). I tried applying it with the flat liner brush from the white e.l.f. brush set. That was moderately successful only if I used it to push the liner into the lash line just to give some more fullness. SO off I went to find a cheap liner brush. I just don't understand why, when a brush is the only practical way to apply this stuff (maybe a toothpick would work? JK), it is not included. Seems like a weird oversight. Or maybe I'm just the dummy who didn't think about that. I got a liner brush from Miss A (for $1), and that's ok, but it flattens at the tip to around 3mm, which is just way too wide to do wings. I find that I can sort of shape the tip of the brush to make a sharper edge, and with that the wings ALMOST work, but still it's just not satisfactory. Next e.l.f. order I hope to get the angled liner brush (it should be offered on discount with the purchase of this item, or at least strongly suggested), and I'm hoping that will give the needed fine point so I can really see how this stuff works. From what I can see, the product is quite good. It's just the lack of thought about application that leaves me unimpressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MY HOLY GRAIL I've used these eyeliners for probably 5 years now. I have the black, plum purple, olive and midnight (I think the last three were discontinued a while ago). My favorite is the black and it's the one I use ALL THE TIME. It glides on easily and it's smudge proof once dried. I've never written a review for elf even though I use a ton of their products but this one is well worth the money, esp during the 50% off. Pro tip: do not use the brush it comes with if you want a sharp wing. My friends compliment me all the time on my eyeliner and they're surprised when I said it's a $3 elf product. I've used the urban decay 24/7, makeup forever pencil eyeliners and several high end products and elf works just as well if not better. Also, the product does dry out after a few months which is the case for most creams and their shelf life. BUT you can easily revive them! I've been using my current one for almost two years (I keep my makeup products/brushes sanitary so I don't get infections or whatnot). Add a drop of baby oil to the dried out product and using a clean toothpick, mix the whole thing. It won't look nice anymore but it'll restore the moisture. And since you're only using the smallest drop of baby oil, it is still smudge free! I tested it on the back of my hand and after a few minutes, I tried to smudge it and I had to try realllllly hard. Even tried water! It holds! I'll be using these FOREVER. Never stop making these!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I bought this a long time ago Stays in place all day ,with the brush I got separate for this is better then the one that comes with it, it's an arched pointed eyeliner brush I prefer if you buy this liner buy that brush. Very pigmentation ,glides perfect even for cat eye effect ,I got black and it doesn't run stays on all day and has the look of liquid eyeliner but I'd prefer this over liquid eyeliner because it won't get into the corner and into your eye and that is painful, I will be buying more but honestly this small tube will last a long time ,happy with that amount and overall look

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product I'm one of those girls who can't draw a line with liquid eyeliner to save my life. In the past I used an angled brush with black eyeshadow, but it always rubbed off quickly and was not very dark in the first place. I bought this product and fell in love! When applied it has the defined darkness of liquid eyeliner but is so much easier to apply than the typical pen liner. I highly recommend this to anybody who wants the look of liquid without the mess and stress.

Does this product come with the brush as well?

Asked by: Miranda11111111
Yes it does, however, it is small and black and I almost through out the package before I saw it. So look carefully for it. It actually is a great little brush I just wish there was a way to attach it to the container.

Would this be good for a winged eyeliner?

Asked by: mrscomilla
I got a small rubber pointed brush from ulta and it makes amazing wings that last, don't recommend trying to wings with the brush it comes with youll just get frustrated.

Is it waterproof?

Asked by: Toby
I wouldn't say waterproof, more like water-resistant. I does not come off easily with water but it does run/smudge with when you put it under water
