How to use Youth Boosting Advanced Night Retinoid Serum:
- On clean skin, blend pea-sized amount of retinoid serum onto your face and neck at night, when skin is the most receptive to renewal.
- If layering, cleanse skin, tone, apply retinol and follow up with a hydrating moisturizer as the last step.
- If new to retinoids, use every 2 days and build up usage overtime.
- Use SPF during the day.

Retinol takes two conversion steps in the skin and is more common in the market, while retinal (retinaldehyde) is a single step away a more potent over-the-counter option, which may cause more irritation.
Why is it recommended to use retinoid serums at night rather than during the day?
Using retinoids at night helps maximizing their effectiveness and minimizing irritation and sun damage. For best practice, we also recommend applying a moisturizer after.
