nice brush
This is a great brush I have used it for highlight and blush and it works just fine. Have no issue with it not pick up product. Used it with several different products and it works.

Useless
Doesn't pick up any product (baked highlighter). I had to resort to using my fingers. However, you get what you pay for.

Amazing for setting power
I know this is a highlighter brush but I have found it to be really good for setting my under-eye and T-Zone! It's works great with a loose or pressed powder. The bristles are soft and distribute product nicely for precise blending. And it's a great price! I have bought multiple - would recommend

great brush!!
I've had this brush for years, and it's never failed to apply my highlight smoothly and easily. I also like to use it for powder blush too. I also find that this brush keeps the product in the bristles pretty well, making the most of my highlight/blush.

I like not love
It's not that this brush is bad in any way its that I haven't found the highlighter brush I'm in love with I have many 2 fan brushes this one another small very defined and while I thought this was going to be just right i found it to be slightly larger than I was looking for however my expectations may vary from yours as I'm jeavy handed where I want my highlighter so it must go on exactly where I intend it so I don't turn into the tin girl quality is great and it is synthetic and very very soft I find myself using it under my eyes to set them also so it can be used in other areas too!

Setting under the eyes/highlight
I love this for setting under the eyes but it is also good for highlight for more intensity on a subtle highlight.

Great quality Brush!
I bought this brush a few years ago and I’m happy to say it’s still going strong! It was very long lasting and effective at such a reasonable price point. I would definitely recommend, although I did end up using it for more blush than highlighter.

Everday essential
This is one of my favorite brushes I use everyday to apply highlighter. It works well for applying highlighter more broadly to areas of the face. I have had this brush for years and it has held up well with regular cleaning.

I try to use the highlighting brush for a colourpop highlighter and it doesn't pick up much of the pigment and don't know if its a problem with the brush or the pigment itself?
JenLyn

Colourpop highlighters are best applied with the Small Stipple Brush. They are a cream formula and most brushes like this don't work too well with them. If using this brush, you may have better luck applying the highlight with your finger, then blending out with this brush...or just get the AMAZING small stipple brush!

Does this work with cream highlighters?

No... Ive found the elf small stipple brush is a godsend for cream or liquid highlight... This performs well on any powder but not cream

How does this compare to the Real Techniques contour brush from the core collection? Is the elf less dense/fluffier and bigger?

its flimsier, and the shape is different. This is pointier, and the bristles in the middle are longer
