How to use Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm:
Step 1: Scoop out a dime-sized amount of makeup melting balm with the included spatula and massage onto dry skin.
Step 2: Moisten fingertips and continue to massage into the skin using circular motions. To remove makeup, apply all over carefully ensuring eyes are closed and watch your makeup melt away!
Step 3: Rinse with water or remove with a warm damp cleansing cloth.

Super gentle cleansing balm!
I LOVE this cleansing balm. Cleansing balms are usually my favorite way to remove makeup. In the past, I’ve used a few others including Farmacy’s Green Clean but I haven’t found one gentle enough to remove my heavy makeup around my eyes without irritating my eyes at the same time. While I always double cleanse after using a cleansing balm anyway, which would breakdown any leftover oil, I like that this balm doesn’t leave an uncomfortable film of oil on the skin. I would highly recommend this balm to anyone with sensitive skin or anyone that wears a full face of makeup regularly. It’s extremely gentle yet incredibly effective, especially for the price.

Why is there plastic in this?
Was really considering purchasing this as I love elf products......until I saw polyethylene in the ingredients list. Why, with all of the talk around plastic (which is what polyethylene is) and how damaging it is to marine life and water sources, would you put it in a product that's designed to be washed off of your skin? Really disappointed that elf couldn't find an alternative ingredient to use, and it's a shame, because the cleansing balm looks perfect for my skin type and it's decently priced. Hopefully elf see this feedback and think about reformulating this product.

Wonderful!
Love this so much! I just scoop a little to my face and rub it in and a lot goes a long way. Takes my makeup off right away! All I do is apply this and then wipe it off and it comes right off! Love it!

Perfect for Double Cleansing
Perfect for double cleansing, even if you aren’t wearing make up daily. It’s oil based so definitely greasy, but once you wash it off it doesn’t leave an oily residue on your face. It works great at getting even my waterproof mascara off. And it is very gentle on my skin. The entire Holy Hydration! line from e.l.f. gets 10s across the board from me!

I used this once, as a quick fix, when I saw that my makeup was dry and cakey in a couple of areas on my face. It did the trick! (I did not realize that it had to be washed off.)
