I like the buildable color
I think negative reviews are from customers who are not using the product correctly. Yes, makeup often comes with instructions. Here's how to use Holy Strokes Micro-Fine Brow Pencil: 1. Hold the eyebrow pen upside down for 15 seconds and shake well to saturate the tip. 2. Flick the brow pen upward to create thin strokes, and apply more pressure for deeper pigment. 3. Replace cap quickly after use.

My one issue with elf is that it's really hard to try to pick out a shade whether it be a foundation or brow product. I chose neutral Brown because it looked like it would fit me, but it is super light. Please refer to the photo down below. I wish that elf would have an exchange program because they don't let you return or get refunds for items that you can't match yourself. I guess I'll have to purchase a darker color. It's kind of a waste of money. I guess that's how elf became a billion dollar company by pulling stunts like this. But when you get a good product and a good match, it is a good thing. I've been shopping at elf since 2014.

Does not work
I kept this turned upside down in storage. I shook it...and shook it...and shook it. It will do one noticable line and stop working. I'll turn it upside down and continue to shake and nothing. Who has time for this??? Complete fail and I'm returning this...too much aggravation for me.

Doesn’t work 😭
I bought this thinking it would work, but unfortunately it does nothing for me. The product comes out inconsistently, dries funny and just looks a mess when applied. Gutted!

LOVE THIS!
As someone with super thin brows that aren’t totally even, I’ve always filled them in with countless different products. This one is by far the best! I bought the darkest shade since the others seemed pretty light and it’s perfect. It created nice little strokes on the insides of my brows where no hair exists! I’m still working on my technique but I’m very happy with this product! Here’s what my brows normally look like vs. using this product

The Worst Brow Pen I’ve Tried!
If I could give this pen a 0 star I would. There is zero pigment, as in there is no product that actually gets filtered through the tip. The brush is dry and deposits nothing. Returned it instantly.

Terrible
I bought the pencil because it was recommended to me and it turned out terrible. I've only been using the pencil for 8 days and I shake it and very little comes out, it doesn't paint my eyebrows at all 😭

Will not buy again
Received the brow pen along with the Power Grip Matte primer and the Liquid Poreless Putty Primer, which I love very much, however, the the Holy Strokes Micro-Fine Brow Pen was a flop. Shook it to death, place it in hot water and it still did nothing. Not one line, not even a faint one. Nothing. Will not buy again.
