Buildable but not moisturizing

This has great pigment and it’s buildable. It gives lips a smooth appearance. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last that long and can dry out lips.

SO BAD! IN EVERY WAY WRONG, NOT RIGHT IN ANY WAY

firstly, expected transparent to semi transparent , reality highly pigmented. what's gutting is this could turn out to be a bad thing because the shade was wrong wrong wrong. absolutely way off completely different to online colour swatches (vile unflattering bright orange yuk in contrast to the advertised soft semi pink cool toned soft red. therefore 'highly pigmented' ends up a bad thing also due to shade being so way off/ completely different to every expectation instilled by elf on the product page. the last thing I'd want from a hideous unflattering shade is high density unflattering colour. which then (also unfortunately) migrates and smears all over the place, way outside the lipline within minutes of applying one single stroke of product to the very centre of top lip only. this however is nothing compared to hydrating core formula's biggest baddest in yer face 'pow feature' (baddest: as in genuinely bad , not good) the far and away worst and sadly defining feature is one that makes this product literally unusable for me and I'm struggling for words to do this feature justice... (it's really that bad) smell/taste is absolutely diabolical: think plastic artificial fruit, literally made me heave and this one point on its own is genuinely SO bad even if everything else about it was amazing and perfect, I'd still struggle to use it t cos it's that 'that bad' it sets me off heaving. and its strong enough that not only the wearer can smell it! so anyway, now i have just had an epiphany: i can actually review "hydrating core" (entire product line) pretty much in two word in total. [one word other than for explaining to you the reader how to successfully apply said word to 'hydrating core lip shine' to do the product justice. apply to all aspects of hydrating core lip shine formula to sum up and do it (semi) Justice. honest review: concise version. product: Hydrating Core Lip Shine: so what can i tell you? totally STINKS . have tested multiple shade and can confirm its not just any one shade or a bad batch, but the hydrating core formula line: (stinks!) really: very unfortunate

My favorite tinted lip balm

I have this in the shade joyful, idk about the other shades but it has a really nice watermelon scent and it's also pretty moisturizing. I think the heart in the middle is cute but I would recommend slicing off the top of the heart to make the top more smooth when I got it it they didnt really blend together until I did that

Nice little lip refresher

I am pretty picky when it comes to lip products. I do not like lipsticks, so my go to is tinted balms. A friend of mine bought me the shade "happy" and it is perfect for perking up my lips without feeling too heavy, glossy, or sticky. Also has a very natural tint to it. My favorite is still the Revlon Kiss line, so Im giving this 4 stars. I would love this a sheer pink or other lighter hues. Bonus: it has a delicious watermelon scent to it. :-)
