Rated 3 out of 5 by from Please read before buying Yes, this product is greasy beyond belief. Yes, the smell is horrid. But, I do enjoy this product. I have normal to dry skin and it works well under foundation or bb cream. I do not like this product without a liquid face product. The packing is very good quality. The pump is not cheap feeling. Know you skin and prefrences before purchasing the product. ;)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Horrible smell I gave this a 2 star because the smell was horrible! It was a free gift from E.L.F so thank you, but I feel that maybe it was old? I'm thinking maybe since it was a free gift from E.L.F they were trying to get rid of some old products that's why it smells. The product itself doesn't seem to be bad, just the smell.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Odor I’m 66 - the product works well enough, but the odor is awful! Can’t imagine how this got past the product QC.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It smells strongly of DIMETHICONES :( I least expected the smell. The product itself works well, but the smell just overpowers any good reasoning I have of using this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smells like plastic I've tried ALOT of different primers & this one is probably the worst one. If you can get past the horrible plastic smell, your face will feel dry, but heavy lone you have alot of makeup on. I use bareminerals powder foundation & I normally feel like I have no makeup on, but w/ this primer it feels heavy & at the end of the day my face looks so oily like I just applied liquid foundation, all while my face, especially around my nose feels so dry & tight. Will not be repurchasing!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very greasy I am very disappointed at this new formula! The last time I remember enjoying this product was sometime on 2017 with the old formula. The old one was wonderful and makes my makeup look flawless I couldn’t see the point of changing it. It was thick and nice consistency and now it’s oily and runny And my makeup starts running down with this product on! Very disappointed! Hope you would bring the old formula back!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So greasy! I'll start by saying that I LOVE e.l.f. products! This one, however, was not for me. It was very greasy/oily and stayed that way. I break out easily and my skin was not happy. Stay away from this one if you have acne prone or oily skin!! I'd be willing to try another primer by e.l.f . that might be better suited for my skin type.

Will this clog my pores? Is it ok for people with acne prone skin?

Asked by: McCallMargaret
No, it shouldn't clog your pores unless you're sensitive to dimethicone (silicone), but the majority are not. Worth a try. :) It is okay for acne prone skin - again, unless you find you have a specific sensitivity to dimethicone (silicone).

How many ounces? I'm trying to find where the size is, in ounces, and don't see it (on this and other products). Where is this listed?

Asked by: charisma1312
0.37 FL oz, it says on this page, in the product description /details. However, it isn't listed on the bottle.

Why aren't the size of the bottles for primers and other items listed anywhere? Am I missing this info? I did read one review that showed the size smaller than .37 and at this cost makes it expensive.

Asked by: myroses
Yes, 0.37 FL oz is correct. The volume is indicated in the product description/ details.

Is this primer silicon based? Thanks!

Asked by: Kat2233
Yes, it is. It contains dimethicone, among other things. Most if not all of ELF's primers contain some sort of silicone.
