Rated 5 out of 5 by from I didn't think I'd use it I bought this item to try a while back, but had a little buyer's remorse afterwards because I didn't think I'd find a way to work it into my routine. But it turns out, it doesn't need to be a part of my morning or evening routine, it fits right in the middle. I started using it while I was sick, and I reached that terrible point of a bad cold where your nose gets painfully chapped.... I tried chapstick, cocoabutter sticks, and lotion... but nothing worked like this does. I started spraying this on my skin every time I blew my nose (which was a lot), I even kept it on my desk at work. This is the only thing that gave me relief. It feels so nice and refreshing. So, since discovering it's value, I've been using it throughout the rest of the winter as the day wears on to fix dry spots on my skin. I very highly recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's good I bought this because I liked the ingredients. I tried to use it as a moisturizer, but my skin is slightly dry and it did not work. So now I use it as a moisturizer under the Prep & Hydrate Balm, then I use the Beautifully Bare primer, then my foundation. Sounds like a lot but it's not. I've had compliments on how glowy my skin looks. And it still looks great at the end of a long day, which was something I didn't get with just the Prep balm and the BB primer (nothing wrong with those products; my skin is just very needy when it comes to moisture). So I'd say it's good. Might be good used alone as a moisturizer for oily skin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Clogged spray I was so excited to see something like this, it's unique. I didn't really give it enough time to see if I like the formula on my face. The mist came out thick and sprayed straight onto my face. Then nozzle got stuck after only a couple of sprays as well. Definitely do not spray this after your makeup, it's not a setting spray. It will ruin your makeup (just wanted to test it out). I will try again before I apply my makeup to see if it hydrates my skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice gel moisturizer It’s kind of strange.. It’s definitely not a mist, more just a gel moisturizer. It’s kind of thick so it sprays out as droplets on your face and you have to pat or rub it in. As others have mentioned, the spray nozzle is a little intense (much like almost all other elf products that spray.. I love you elf, but you could improve your spray nozzles) but I do appreciate that it is in spray form. It’s very convenient and also more sanitary because you don’t touch the product at all or even get near where the products comes out. The scent is pretty nice and it’s light too, not too strong. I actually didn’t like this at first but the convenience of spray function and the moisture it provides without being heavy, made me like it a lot over time. I will most likely repurchase!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mist Spray The spray is not a mist is very forceful, even when you try spraying further away from your face. I would use the product more during the day if it was a light mist across your face. It feels like a spray bottle for your hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a little confusing, but... I bought this very spur of the moment to get me to the $25 free gift amount, because I love anything that's a mist. I tend to get very overheated and I hoped that this would have a bit of a cooling effect, since it's a gel-to-liquid. I was a little alarmed at how it sprayed out, though. It's quite a forceful spray, certainly not what I would call a gentle mist. But the product does feel pretty cooling and it leaves my skin feeling really soft but clean! Not oily at all. I really do appreciate this product, I just wish that the scent were a little bit softer (it can be a little intense) and that it had more of a "misting" effect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Irritation I bought this product with the daily hydration moisturizer and this product (with the other one) did not work with my skin. I have dry sensitive skin and this product made my skin have more dry patches and irritation.

Hi, I see there is fragrance in this product. Is it naturally derived or synthetic?, & is there artificial or chemical ingredients in it?

Asked by: Ninjajill
There are natural extracts in this hydrating mist that no doubt contributes to the scent but there is also a scent added. As for your question about chemicals, everything is a chemical, natural or synthethic. Even water has a chemical composition. But there are ingredients in this mist that do not naturally occur in nature, if that's what you were wondering about. Not too many, but a few.

Where can this be purchased?

Asked by: Cubano7649
I believe at this point, it is an online exclusive so you can only buy it here at elf's website.

can this be used as a primer? i only wear concealer and highlighter.

Asked by: mccari26
I think this would make a really great primer, given the high glycerin content. Glycerin really helps make up "grip on" to the skin and stay there. I would just use this though and not layer it with anything else. Spritz it on, massage it in gently and when it's tacky or dry, follow with foundation. :)
