Gently remove mask from pouch, unfold and apply to clean dry skin. Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Remove mask gently. Massage and pat in remaining serum into the skin until fully absorbed. Follow with normal skincare routine. Use once a week or as often as desired in the morning or at night.

The description says it's a paper mask so I was worried it would dissolve or rip. It feels like a linen mask just more delicate. When I opened the package and took out the mask it was soaked in the water/aloe mix. It was a little tricky to unfold (I was worried it was going to rip on me) and a bit of the mask is on my hairline and ears. There is hardly any scent and isee cooling to the skin. The only negative things I'll say is how fragile I felt the mask was and how much is in my hair and ears. For $3 it's definitely worth getting if you want to use sheet masks multiple times a week.

Feels Good But Leaves Residue
I really wanted to love this mask. It feels great to wear, and is super cooling and hydrating. Unfortunately, it leaves behind a gross residue every time I use it! I bought three about a month ago, but haven't even used the third one yet because I sometimes have to wait at least a day for this weird like...blue-ish gunk to leave my face! It got stuck in my baby hairs, and even built up a bit under my foundation the next day. I want to give it another chance. I'll just say this: don't use it in the morning, and don't use it if you plan on wearing make up the same day.

This is a great mask for quick hydration! I love doing a face mask like this to relax and before doing my makeup for the day to hydrate my skin!

Worth it!
I received this mask as part of a gift a few years back and fell in love with it. I ordered 6 more and use them once a week and LOVE the way it makes my skin feel. It feels like heaven on my face.

Comparing to K-beauty sheet masks
I normally buy the A'Pieu brand face masks, and these are so comparable to them with way more serum left over. The packaging isn't as pretty as K-beauty brands, but it works just as well!

I love this!!!!!!
I have super sensitive skin and I also have eczema and this face mask is the best sheet I have ever used. I also have dry skin and this product made my skin feel super hydrated. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has dry and/or sensitive skin.

So Hydrating and Stays Put!!
I got this in the Holy Hydration set and reached for the mask first thing. It's the dead of Winter and my skin is SCREAMING for hydration!! It fit my face so nice and applied so easily, and it actually stayed put the entire time! My skin felt awesome, very moisturized and there was some leftover serum, so I just slathered it all over my arms and legs!! I want to order a box of these, and I wish they came 5 or 10 to a box for a value price. Please e.l.f., group some masks together so we can buy them in a box!!

Super Hydrating
My face has been super dry this winter, and none of my usual products were giving me the moisture I needed. I used one of these masks one night and my face felt like new the next day - super plump and fresh with no dry skin. Would highly recommend!

When should this be used in your skincare routine? After cleansing? After serum and essence but before moisturizer?

We suggest that you use the mask on cleansed skin either in the morning or at night before any other products have been applied. You may then proceed with your normal skin care routine.

This product is not a cleanser, it is a mask. The packet is similar to the sample/travel size masks you can get at stores like CVS, Target, etc. but it also contains a single use tissue sheet which is saturated with the liquid in the pouch. To use the product, open the pouch, carefully unfold the tissue mask and place it on your face, starting at the nose and smoothing it out as you go. The remaining liquid in the packet can be smoothed over the tissue and down the neck as well.

Is the hydroxyethyl urea in this product derived from animal urine?

Urea is often referred to as carbamide the primary organic solid of urine, this is waste that has been produced by the body after it metabolises protein. Thankfully, the urea used in the cosmetic industry is from synthetic sources and not animal derived, it is formed from ammonia and carbon dioxide, and can be produced in either a solid or liquid form. As discussed earlier there are three forms of urea found in personal care products, hydroxyethyl, diazolidinyl and imidazolidinyl urea; often people get confused by these, but they are in fact two completely different ingredients. Diazolidinyl Urea andimidazolidinyl urea are antimicrobial preservatives used in the skin care industry. They are used to protect personal care products from bacteria, yeast and mould, they do get a lot of bad press as a preservative, due to the fact that they are proven formaldehyde releasers. Hydrovance, inci name hydroxyethyl urea is a potent humectant and considered safe as a cosmetic ingredient.

So it's says use once a week. Does that mean you can use the same sheet once a week or you have to purchase multiples. That part is not clear.

NEVER use a sheet mask twice. It holds on to the bacteria on your face and that bacteria only muliplies on the used sheet. It's is not a good idea.

"Single-use mask" is not very clear. It could mean the package contains 3 single use masks, for example. So I checked the lower left corner of the package. It does say "Contains 1 sheet".
